    And after probably too many tearful conversations, Buck was really starting to be happy again. Maddie was getting better, things were okay between him and Chimney again, and after his amicable breakup with Taylor, he was certain that he and Eddie were heading in a favorable direction.

    That was why, when Christopher started acting off, Buck didn't see it coming.
