Summary
After years of cohabitation with the spirit haunting his dorm, Yuu had grown used to Mika’s presence, even appreciative of him when he’d offer help with schoolwork or advice in regards to Yuu’s social life. That was the thing about Mika, even in death he was intelligent and sociable, yet there was so much missing. He remembered how to do complex math but not who had taught him. Specifically, all he remembered about his life was that he was named Mikaela but usually called Mika, there was nothing left of who he’d been in life. For the last 3 years Mika had just been his supernatural roommate but it struck Yuu that he was approaching the end of high school with absolutely no closure for himself or Mika.
Mentally Yuu made a promise to himself and to Mika that he’d learn what happened to him. It was his senior year. His last chance. Vaguely he could recall hearing about an occult club last year but had never gone to check it out because he’d assumed it was going to be a bunch of freshmen obsessed with summoning demons. ‘But fuck it, I don’t know where else to start…’ It was as good a place as any, at least he could assume the people in such a club would not think him insane for asking about ghosts.
