Chapter Text
A young man, or rather an immortal being who took the form of a young butler, was waiting for news of the newly defeated god of the seas. His face showed an indifference and courtesy. Outside, yes, inside it was a storm of anger, humiliation, shame, disgust and other negative feelings that defeat by the side of the gods left him.
He wasn't the only one, most if not all the gods of the Greek pantheon felt the same way. Some gods revolted in disgust, others wept bitterly, there were lesser gods running from the stadium in shame. Ares remained at the messenger's side, just as the latter waited for answers.
They, along with the other gods of the Greek pantheon, demanded that the mutilated, but living body of the god of the seas be handed over to them so they could derive satisfaction from his defeat. It was cruel... by human standards. But Poseidon was a god! A GOD! How could he lose!? And even more so for a human!!?
The gods were immortal, the centuries were little meaningless to them. It was ironic how the next few minutes after the third round was over had become endless and regretful.
The medical god, or one of several medical gods who were needed to sew Poseidon back, left the operating room.
"How is he? " Hermes looked at the doctor responsible for his uncle
"Still unconscious, however he is out of danger." The god looked at him with seriousness and calm, he was also one of the many non-Greek gods who was enraged by the fact that a god was defeated by a human. If his presence and his service were not required, he would have left the loser to succumb to his wounds.
"Good, we still need to have a 'conversation' with him! When do you think he'll wake up? " Zeus, the younger brother of the bedridden god, laughed without taste. Still weakened by Adam's fight, the king of Olympus arrived in a wheelchair just to find out the other's condition.
As soon as he learned that the human, who in turn was the biggest loser in human history, had beaten the god of the seas, he didn't believe it at first, but he soon exploded with rage.
"At least.."
Before the doctor could speak Poseidon himself, the losing god woke up screaming.
"Oh, looks like it was sooner than we thought!"
Because of the incessant screams the doctors and nurses struggled to neutralize the god, it was impossible to inject a sedative because of the agitation.
"Poseidon! Poseidon! What happened?" Ares contained his uncle in vain, impressively Poseidon still had the strength to
"Adamas! Adamas!" trembled, tossed, struggled with anger and disbelief, still barely aware of what was surrounded, the others did not exist in front of him
"Uncle, what are you talking about?" Now it was Hermes who didn't know what was happening
"Adamas! Adamas!" growled with saliva in his mouth
Without much patience, the messenger god walked to bed and slapped eight times on both sides of his blonde's face to calm him down.
"Calm down Man, say what happened!"
"Adamas!" Breathed without looking at anyone "He's alive!"
"What?" Hermes whisper incredulously
"Impossible!" Ares protested "He's dead!" You were the one who killed him, don't you remember?!"
"No, he survived!"
"And How can you knowabout that?" Zeus smoothed his beard thoughtfully
"I had a vision!" declared bluntly
Everyone was stunned, confused and amazed. They were silent to hear what the god of the seas had to reveal.
"Everything started the day that damn worm came to my palace wanting me to join him to dethrone Zeus. After I hit him with my trident and threw him through the wall, I could see that his body had been taken to an unknown location. Soon I could see he being taken care of and sewn by three gods..."
"Do you know who they are?" Hermes interrupted him
"No, I couldn't see their faces or anything that could identify them!" he admitted bitterly, like him, a perfect god couldn't know who those damned figures were.
"Soon the bastard woke up and one of the gods started talking to him..."
"Talked about what?"
"Don't interrupt me, brat! I also couldn't tell whose voice it was, whether it was male or female, but that doesn't matter now! They said that Adamas should recover and hide so that when it was an ideal moment he would have to come back and defeat me!
"And what happened after?"
"They left a group of immortal beings, but weak and so insignificant that no one would miss, taking care of his injuries! Among them there was a nymph!"
"A nymph? " Zeus repeated amazed
"But what does a nymph have to do with it?" Hermes kept the focus
" I'll still get there..."
"What makes you think it was a nymph?" the Greek god of thunder asked, wanting confirmation of the fact
"Well, let's see, she had pointy ears, she had dark green, almost brown hair and she lived for a few years longer than the life expectancy of a human relay! And she also had some small branches with leaves sticking out of her head!"
"Of what species was the nymph?" the god of war asked, if they knew which class the nymph belonged to, they could know who was one of the gods who helped Adamas. Each class of nymph was assigned to some god, if they find out who waas
"A plant nymph, I'm not sure if she was a dryad(tree nymph) or an anthus(flower nymph)!"
"What was the format of the leaves uncle? Did she have a specific flower in her hair?" Ares didn't know much about plants, but he knew someone who could help
"I do not know.."
"How are her eyes?" Zeus asked
"Big and shiny, maybe they were green! But what am I talking about..."
"Is she a cute little nymph?" Zeus continued having fun with curiosity
"STOP FOCUSING ON THAT NYMPH! IT'S A NYMPH, OF COURSE SHE'S PRETTY!"
The three were silent and Poseidon continued
"Well, by a miracle and by saying miracle I mean a mental problem, the two fell in love and had offspring."
"Do you mean that Adamas had children?!" Zeus couldn't believe
"You are deaf or what? I just said that!"
"So the things resulting from that relationship continued to grow and reproduce, generating even more offspring over the centuries."
"But what happened to Adamas or the Nymph?"
"I couldn't see them later, I could only see all the generations of their descendants."
"Do you still think he's alive?"
"Yes, he didn't die when I hit him!" he stated firmly. "He has improved, but I can feel the worm is still hiding!"
"Now you need to rest, doing anything in this state is useless."
Poseidon growled. Useless. He was hurt, that made him useless. Humiliating. Totally humiliating.
"What happened to the demigods of Adamas?"
"They continued traveling further away from Greece. They managed to leave Europe and began to mix with the peoples of Asia, the cycle continued until some of them crossed the sea and landed on an island. They settled down."
"But It didn't end there, did it?" For the first time this day Ares put his head to work
"Yea!"
"What happened?"
"One of Adamas' descendants is... Kojiro Sasaki!" lowered his head
