Summary
A week before the newest Extermination is full of dread and anticipation. Heaven has internal conflicts about redemption. Hell has popcorn ready for the fight.
Choices have been made. No one can go back. But Heaven is in for a bit of a shock when someone comes forward with information about a traitor in Heaven and the Treaty being broken.
Adam is willing to entertain her. If only the others would be less annoying. If there is a traitor he will gladly deal with them. If this baby bird is making it all up she better at least be entertaining.
Charlie is on a mission because she is determined to find out why an Ars Goetia attacked one of her friends. She and Vaggie are set on getting back what was stolen.
King Paimon regrets his entire progeny. He has been gone for just 1 year or is it 20? Why are his descendants idiots?! His granddaughter could ruin them all.
The Archangels all have conflicting views and Emily just doesn't understand why souls are being killed.

Después de que el asalto de los V al Cielo fracasara y una paz tensa se instalara en el Infierno, el proyecto de Charlie finalmente parecía haber encontrado un punto de equilibrio entre ambos reinos. Sin embargo, esta frágil tregua se hizo añicos con una sola pregunta.

No fue la alta Serafín quien la formuló, ni provino de los rincones del Infierno. Quienes exigían una respuesta eran los Grandes Arcángeles; la verdadera familia del Primer Hombre, el Padre de la Humanidad.

Summary
In another life, another time, both Adam and Eve were sent to Hell after their death for the crime of the original Sin - eating the forbidden fruit. While Eve disappears, Adam remains as the first Overlord in Hell, seemingly adapting despite the lingering sense of injustice at his situation.
Centuries later, Charlie Morningstar starts up a hotel with the goal of redeeming sinners. After one of these sinners perishes in a battle and ends up in Heaven, Lute is sent along with fellow Exorcist Vaggi by the Seraphim and Commander Abel to observe the methods used by the Princess of Hell that appear to have helped redeem this poor soul, and hopefully strengthen relations between the two realms.
Lute thinks it's a waste of her time, and has a chance encounter with a certain First Man while completing her assignment.

He really just wanted to help people. Wants to help people.
So fuck it, why not try and get some of these fuckers up past the golden gates.
