   Summary

   Zero was built to seek out and consume alternative energy sources and materials to remain functional. This instinct is as ingrained in him as his combat abilities, and when stripped of everything else, he forgets to be ashamed of it.

   Translation: Zero is compelled to hunt and consume inorganic materials, regardless of whether or not they’re part of another robot, functioning or not. This fic is just various characters struggling to deal with that.
