    “Toph, be nice,” Katara scolded quietly, with Kya sleeping in her arms and Kanto walking up beside her with two-year-old Izumi clutching his hand. “The girls wanted him here too, and I wasn’t going to say no to their little pouts, was I?”

    Toph raised a brow, feeling her friend’s heartbeat quicken. “Uhuh, the girls, you say? The same girls who can barely get a word out yet?”
