Alec was pissed off because he was trying to wrap up the Christmas presents and his clothes and hands were covered in scotch tape. He swore. Magnus who just got home looked at him.
"What happened, Alexander?", Magnus asked.
"What does it look like I'm doing?", Alec replied.
Magnus rid him of the scotch tape with a snap of his fingers. Then he helped Alec wrap up the presents and he put them under the tree. They sat on the sofa and looked at the lit up tree. Alec kissed Magnus and Magnus kissed him back.
"It's great that you and I finally get to spend some time alone together", Magnus said.
Alec smiled and wrapped his arms around him.
"You don't hear me complain", the Shadowhunter replied.
"You want to watch a movie with me?", Magnus asked.
"Yeah, okay", Alec replied.
Magnus handed Alec a cup of hot chocolate and they watched a movie. Half way through the movie, Alec was asleep. Magnus stroke his hair and smiled tenderly at him.
"Alexander, wake up", Magnus said.
"What?", Alex asked.
"Alexander, love, you're tired, let's go to bed, okay? We can watch the rest of the movie tomorrow", Magnus replied.
"Okay. Let's go to bed", Alec said.
Magnus took his hands and they went to their bedroom. They kissed and fell asleep in each other's arms.
