Summary
Xue Yang stood at the railing, resting his arms on the chipped wood, and watched as the sun burnt up the waves. He had always loved watching as the sun would sink under the waves slowly, painting the ever-waving water with shades of gold and crimson, and grabbed every opportunity to do so. He looked wistfully at the calm scene, the golden bridge that led to the horizon, and he wished, as he would often do, that he’d be able to walk it.
Xue Yang didn't know that soon he'd have his chance to see whether he can learn how to walk that elusive bridge towards happiness or be consumed by the waves.
