It’s snowing outside. Maggie saw the snow outside before Alex Danvers did. Now they are outside the house. Alex is standing on the porch. Maggie is shoveling snow. Alex is looking at her with loving goo-goo eyes. Alex is going to hang a wreath outside on the door. Maggie is still working very hard.
Alex comes up behind Maggie and tackles her into the snow. (You know what happens!) They end up making out in the snow.
They go back in the house because they get cold. Alex goes back in first. Maggie has a surprise for Alex that’s in a box behind the cabin. She makes sure Alex is back in the house before she goes around to get the box.
Maggie puts the box down in front of Alex and Alex wonders what it is. Maggie tells Alex to open it up. Alex opens up the box and sees what’s inside and starts crying because she is happy. And she tells Maggie that she is going to name the dog Gertrude. Maggie puts a dog collar on the dog that already has the name Gertrude on it because she knew that Alex would name the dog that. Then Alex gives Maggie a kiss.
They spend the rest of the night watching a movie and eating popcorn with their dog Gertrude.
