   Summary

   Jaskier has always been touched by Chaos. And for the most part, it has served him well. Except the few times it made him violently ill or made him feel as if Death herself had reached inside him and ripped his heart out.
   He could have done without knowing what heartache tasted like. And how Geralt of Rivia really felt about him. But that's what songs are for right? To turn all that heartache and longing into a great bar song that customers loved and tavern workers loathed.

   Because when Jaskier said Geralt smelt of 'real adventures, death and destiny, heroics and heartbreak and onion' - he wasn't being metaphorical.
