   Summary

   Ashton doesn’t like the tone of Calum’s voice. It makes his insides shake with uncertainty. “What do you mean?” 

   “Oh, nothing,” Calum says with a shrug. He removes his shoe without breaking eye contact, putting his leg back to the ground slowly, too slowly, before padding towards Ashton, the insufferable grin still glued to his face. “I just thought you were supposed to focus on your drums and not, you know– my ass.”
