Summary
Ellie looks down at the chocolate bar as Nico steps up behind her, curving his arm around her waist and stealing a piece of apple. He presses an apple-tinted kiss to her cheekbone, his arm tightening a little to pull her into him.
“Hello.”
It takes her a second to understand.
“You’re such a creeper.”
His laugh is a puff of air over her head. He steps back and moves to the fridge, reaching in to grab a water bottle.
“How’s it creepy?” he asks, with a crooked smile as he cracks the seal and lifts the bottle to his mouth.
“Do you have my period on a schedule or something? Download an app?”
He shakes his head, laughing lightly. “No, don’t need to.”
She rolls her eyes. “You’re just that good?”
He snorts, his grin crooked and confident and more attractive than it has any right to be. She scowls at him.
Just on principle.Or, Ellie is on her period and Nico is really just that good.
