    Summary

    Chloe O' Brian and her fiance Patrick Buchanan (Bill Buchanan's twin brother) try to free Jack Bauer and give him what he deserves most: a calm and peaceful life.

    Unfortunately, a cabal of Russians and a cabal of Americans have other plans: they ally to cause a second Cold War for power and profit.

    Once more, Jack Bauer has to step into the fray to prevent another catastrophe. And apart from Chloe and Patrick, there are more people to assist him... including the man who betrayed him years ago.

    Disclaimer: The story was written long before the February 2022 Russian invasion in Ukraine. Any similarities with that event or other real life events is pure coincidence. (There are few similarities though.)
