Nightshift with the Sun

Summary:

You have a night shift job in the Daycare section of the Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. During your shift, you share an intimate moment with the animatronic.

or.. just me wanting to write where we get to hang out with Sun

Notes:

This is very short, because I'm not very creative and just wanted to cut to the chase. I'm still waiting for the creation of a plush of Sun and Moon. Anyway, enjoy.

Work Text:

The teenager entered the daycare room, feeling the cold breeze. They set their backpack, and pulled out their laptop. Only sound you heard was their keyboard loudly typing as they finished their homework.

They sighed, “Why is it so quiet?” Usually, there was something roaming around this daycare as they sat behind the desk.

An hour had passed, a very excited voice could be heard from afar. The teen was pleasantly relieved that the metal robot wasn’t deactivated tonight. It was a thrill to hear the bubbly energy every night.

“Helloo!” The robot spoke out, as he skipped his way towards them. “Hi Sun,” the teenager smiled. Sun leaned over the desk, “What are you up to…” he looked at you for a moment, “... Y/N?”

They looked down at their tag, and back up at Sun, “Yes, it’s Y/N..” “I like your name!” Sun said enthusiastically, “Is it your first time around the daycare?” Y/N shook their head, “I’ve been here for about a week now.”

Sun backed up, shocked, “Oh.. apologies for not greeting you sooner. I had just noticed you!” It was surprising they could tell his emotion, even if the robotic face could not change his facial expression.

“Is that work you are working on?” Sun looked at your laptop. “It’s just stuff from school.. sort of overwhelming.” Your face dropped thinking about the work you had to get done before leaving the restaurant.

Sun exclaimed, “We can do some arts and crafts! You seem sad, Y/N. Do you glitter glue?” You gave him a small smile, “Yeah, that sounds fun.” The robot seemed very ecstatic, “Come Y/N, we’re going to have so much fun!”

I stood up from the chair and walked away from the desk with Sun. As we both walked towards the robot’s arts and crafts corner, Sun was ranting about the amount of activities we were going to have.

“Here! Choose your favorite color to decorate your page!” Sun pointed at the different paint colors. As they were both decorating their pages, the teenager had accidently knocked some glitter on the ground. Sun cried out, “Oh no! What a mess!” Immediately began to pick up the tube filled with glitter.

The teenager started to apologize, “I didn’t mean to drop the glitter Sun..” Sun looked up. The two of them stared at each other for a moment before the robot stood up, “It’s okay, Y/N. But your page looks amazing!”

“Thanks!” Sun picked up their pages and set them on display. “All the kids are going to see our amazing artwork tomorrow.” He patted their head, “Do you want to head to the ballpit?”

Y/N smiled at Sun, “Actually, I have some work to get done. But if there’s still time we can spend some time together later.” Sun nodded and headed off.

As Y/N worked on things behind the desk, Sun occasionally walked by. He delivered items ranging from a sticky note with messy handwriting, yet inspiring messages to a Fizzy Faz for the rest of the night, putting a smile on Y/N’s face.
