Chapter Text
Robot looked upon him in worry and concern. While his knowledge on human health was limited he has a strong feeling that something is wrong with Will just by looking at him, his movements were sluggish and strained, his breathing deep and laboured and every 30 seconds was letting out a horse wheezy cough.
The youngest Robinson was laying down on his bed curled up, shivering and sweating. Robot was stood in the doorway to his room and looked upon his malfunctioning friend.
“Oh hey Robot” Will coughed out, his back facing his friend.
“Danger, Will Robinson”
Will pondered on his friend's words before chirping up “there isn't any danger here buddy” he attempted to reassure him. Robot entered the room and kneeled by Will’s bedside, placing a hand carefully on his friend's shoulder “Danger, Will Robinson”. It then hit him
“Oh…I'm ok Robot, I'm just a bit sick. I’ll be fine I promise” The Robinson turned to face his obviously concerned friend. Robot wasn't convinced even in the slightest; Will could feel the air comedown heavy with worry as his friend looked upon his frail and sickly figure. Will places his hand on top of his friend's hand that was resting on his shoulder and gave a reassuring smile “I just need to rest buddy, this isn't the first time I've been ill”. Robot still had that worried look in his lights but he was slightly reassured by that statement Will made. “You go back to work, I'll be right here when you come back” will pat his friend's hand as a gesture of reassurance and hid under his sheets to rest as Robot left to help the humans of the 24th Colonist group
Work was all the same for Robot, it was just lifting heavy stuff that humans couldn't. He couldn't complain though, it was easy enough.
Will’s health has been on his mind all the time he has been working, he wants to stand guard over his friend in case anything were to happen to him but he knows he has an obligation to help the other members of Will’s colony. They gave him a home after all.
After Robot finished his work he went to Will’s living quarters on the Jupiter 2 immediately, ignoring everyone and everything in his path. When he opened the door he expected to see his friend on his bed but instead he heard alarming sounds coming from his bathroom. He banged on the door of the bathroom; he learned it is extremely rude to just open the door when someone is using it. Robot then heard retching and sobs coming from behind the door “Don't come in!” Will sobbed as he continued his expulsion of stomach content.
Robot disregarded his friend's wishes and entered anyway, worry and fear was the only thing running on his processors.
Will was practically hugging the bowl of the toilet as he sobbed and retched. Robot stood in the doorway and just stared at his friend.
Will lifted his head up from the bowl of the toilet and spoke through his sobs “I told you not to come in-” as he spoke he was interrupted by the expulsion of his stomach contents.
“Help Will Robinson” The giant Robot spoke up.
There was a moment of silence before Maureen came rushing to the bathroom to attend to her son slumped over the toilet bowl sobbing and keeling over in pain. Robot politely moved out of the way for her and observed the mother tend to her son's distress.
Maureen embraced her sickly son “oh baby shh shh it’s ok it’s ok” she tried to calm Will, rocking him back and forth in her arms. His body temperature radiated to her; he had to be running a fever of at least 38°C (100°F). She carefully stood up the poor boy and helped him back to his room. Robot followed suit after Maureen left the bathroom.
