Summary
Kaneki Ken went completely blind as a toddler due to his untreated cataract. He is currently looking through his options of occupation as he goes through college, but a boisterous classmate by the name of Hideyoshi Nagachika has apparently taken an interest in Ken. He claims that he hopes to help research into diseases, disabilities, and the sort, including understanding if there's a way to prevent blindness - or giving vision to a blind person. He claims he would like to understand how a blind person, like Kaneki, might feel about that, but is it possible that his reasons for befriending Ken go deeper? I mean, he did say Kaneki was cute.
(And what exactly is Hide's history with Nishiki in this?? [totally unexpected. This ranks right up there with Ashton and Lark like wtf where did this come from???])
