“A good spark can shine all the way.”
“What do you think?”
“Does my fire not enough for y’all?”
She swiveled her head around in confusion. Red and golden scales flared in disturbance as she repositioned.
She turns her gaze to him mockingly, “How about you show me yours.”
He gulped at the request, but nevertheless he revealed his sequence. Patterns of luminescent scales gleamed from one way to another. He raised his snout to reveal the lights that flicker below his eyes. He lifted his wings to expose the spirals that trace along his canopy.
Then he shone them all in a dim flash before turning them off again.
“Happy?”
She smirked, “I thought so.”
They both looked at the other.
She claps, “Ooh, my turn!” She said as her scales transformed into a wide array of colors, switching from bright manifestations of emotions, to unsaturated, aesthetically pleasing pictures.
“So how do they look?”
They glanced at each other, thinking. She ruffled her frills.
“We can improve it,” he replies, shyly.
“We could all use some help here,” she countered. Then the three of them flushed.
Then with a brief of silence, she declared, “I think it’s alright.”
