Summary
This is going to be Storage Rick's last Christmas.
A case of Cupiditas Fever transforms Rick's unrequited love for Scruffy Morty into a death sentence. Though he's convinced himself that keeping his love a secret is the best thing for everybody, the stressors of his terminal illness slowly but surely bring the matter to a head. Can Rick and Morty save one another before it's too late?
Excerpt:
"'Legacy' is a pointless concept. The only people with legacies are abusers and the occasional philanthropist," Rick pontificated, bristling. "I'm not leaving a fucking legacy. I'm just a Rick, and Ricks are nothing but garbage. No one's gonna remember me a year from now, and it's better that way. I've hurt enough people. I just want to die when I die."
