Summary
Even though he’s only met her once, a month ago, Naomi has been like a mother to him for far longer—sending him birthday gifts, wanting to talk to him when she calls or Iris-messages Will, and, of course, begging him to attend family holidays. Right before they headed back to New York after Thanksgiving, Naomi pulled him aside and assured him that he was more than welcome for Christmas. There is just one little problem—and she walks into the kitchen just as Naomi is hugging Nico, a vision in mauve.
“Grandma,” Will says, in about the same tone of excitement he uses when one of the Hermes kids breaks someone’s finger again. “It’s so nice to see you.”
