Chapter Text
Gregory didn't know what to do.
He's used to hiding in various places for the nights since he managed to escape his foster family, but luckily for him, he has never been found.
Until now.
Where a bunch of seven-foot robots and a murderous bunny were trying to kill him.
For absolutely no reason.
Well if you don't consider trespassing as a reason to murder someone.
He has been running for the past hour hoping to find an exit that wasn't closed, or at least a good hiding place until morning came.
But for a while now he has been wandering outside the daycare area debating with himself if to slide into a possible trap without escape and hoping it would have been a good temporary hideout.
Fuck it. He's dead anyway so why not risk it.
Surely nothing bad will happen.
He slipped into the slide and fell into a giant ball pit, full of the germs from the daily usage of kids.
"Ew.." Gregory whined.
He quickly left the bacteria pit, His eyes widening as he glanced around at what has got to be one of the biggest daycares he's ever seen, n ot that he ever saw that many, it just looked like a very unique one.
He started to look at his surroundings, it was weird seeing a place so big being so quiet with no one else around at this hour, at least he hoped no one would be able to catch him.
He saw some boxes stacked one up to another, various tables with drawings scattered all over them, and some child-size chairs.
There also was a massive play structure made by various tubes making some sort of l abyrinth .
Then Gregory heard something.
Then again.
It sounded like the tinkle of some bells.
It got louder.
The boy started hyperventilating in panic, while his eyes darted around frantically, looking for any possible hiding spots.
Another animatronic, just how many are there? Gregory thought panicking
He heard something giggle.
Fuck fuck fuck
He tried to stay still as a robot with long limbs and a faceplate representing a sun with clear white eyes approached him
"NEW FRIEND!!"
Gregory couldn't move.
Not now, not now, move legs, run run-!
But his body didn't react as the animatronic got closer with a wide smile.
"HEY THERE BUDDY ISN'T IT LATE FOR YOU TO BE HERE??"
No reaction stand still, maybe it has some sort of movement-detector camera.
"HELLOOOO? ARE YOU THERE?"
The robot looked worried.
Can't move can't cove can't move
The animatronic picked up the kid with no effort
"OH WOW NEW FRIEND WE COULD HAVE SOOOOO MUCH FUN WE COULD DO ALL SORTS OF GAMES!!! FINGER PAINT HIDE AND SEEK, OH I EVEN HAVE GLITTER GLUE"
Can't breathe can't breathe can't breathe can't breathe
"Oh hey new friend is everything ok? You look pale"
A single tear rolled down his cheek.
“OH WAIT WAIT ARE YOU CRYING- OH GOSH I'M SO SO SO SORRY NEW FRIEND”
The sun based animatronic gently put down the kid
“No no don't cry!! Uh let's see would you like to do some games? We could play, oh have some colors do you prefer to draw something? Whatcha say?”
The kid kept staring at the animatronic, almost as if he blinked it would have attacked him on sight.
“Oh uh, we can introduce each other first! The name’s sundrop or sunny if you’d like something shorter. I'm the daycare attendant, I can watch you till your parents come and get you! Does that sound good buddy? We can get you some sweets in the meantime!”
The boy slowly tilted his head in confusion.
Wait, it isn't attacking me? Is this a trick of some sort?
