Vox usually had a grand entrance shtick to intimidate the humans who summoned him, all smoke and fire and brimstone, but he got one twirl in before stopping and staring. He might’ve been drooling.

Summary
Alastor’s grip tightens, his nails digging into Vox’s skin and earning a wince. “What did you do?”
Vox’s nose scrunches up, and if he still had a flatscreen for a face he would no doubt have glitched. “What did I do?” he exclaims, his head lifting off the floor. “Why do you think I did anything?”
“Because there is no way in all of Hell that I would’ve…” he trails off, and he hopes that Vox can’t tell that his face is heating up. “No, this has something to do with you and you need to let us out. Now.”
“How would I even do this? I’m not the one with weird reality warping powers, you freak.”
Alastor stares, waiting.
Vox eventually speaks. “Look, can we just talk about this? I don’t know if we’ll regenerate if one of us kills the other and I really don’t want to test it out.”
And that… was an excellent point.
