"There's a song you want me to listen to?" Tommy squints at the screen to catch a glimpse of the donation. "Cause you're pogchamp? Well, that sounds like a banger fuckin' name for a song, I'll tell you that much," he declares loudly.
"Alright," he starts, opening a new tab to search it on YouTube. "Checking out this song, then. Hope it's as pog as the name makes it sound."
Oh.
It's Wilbur Soot.
The Wilbur Soot.
Now, he'd never spoken to this man before, but he thinks about it once in a while: shooting him a message on his Twitter. He'd almost come close to it once, but then Wilbur took a break off of Twitter (which is completely fair - he's thought about it before) and then another chance never really came around even when Wilbur came back onto Twitter.
"Oh, it's this guy," Tommy says offhandedly. "I didn't know he released a new song recently."
Wait, shit.
"Not that I know his entire discography or anything," Tommy tries to say to cover himself, but he knows that his fans know him better than that. "Just a few songs here and there, of course."
Shit, if he didn't already out himself as a Wilbur Soot fan, then he definitely has now.
"Anyway," Tommy says loudly, trying to move on. "Let's react to it right now, shall we, chat?"
He tries to not show his excitement as the YouTube video loads Wilbur Soot's newest single.

Little does he know, a certain musician is live himself, telling his chat to stop talking about telling TommyInnit anything, let alone the completely false fact that it was written for him.
... And if it was?

Tommy's prepared to make a few snarky jokes here and there once the video starts loading a very pretty sounding melody for the intro of the song, but once Wilbur's voice drifts into his headphones, he has to focus all of his energy to keep his mouth from being wide open.
You'd think Tommy's used to Wilbur's voice by now, but for some reason, his voice melts into this sweetness Tommy can never get enough of (which is saying a lot since he doesn't even have a sweet tooth to begin with).
"Uh, wow, chat," he laughs nervously. "Pretty good stuff here."
Gods, this is embarrassing. He can feel all the heat rushing to his face at the sound of Wilbur singing about how the object of his affections is supposedly "pogchamp" and how their smile is like "sunshine" to him -- anyone would get flustered at that, really!
It's not because of his sort-of crush on the singer whatsoever.

Little does he know, said singer is watching his stream silently on his own stream, looking at his face as if TommyInnit's approval is the only one that matters.
As if TommyInnit was the only one that matters.
