Summary
The world was once ravaged by war, something new blossoms. BDSM used to be hidden, looked down upon as something out of the ordinary, something 'normal people' didn't do. But then it saved humanity.
Luca lives in a world shaped by the BDSM community after WW4 devastates civilization. To prevent future conflicts, scientists developed a synthetic gene (Syn B). As Luca turns 18 at the beginning of the book, he discovers his rank (Traditional Sub, Brat) and embarks on a short yet anxiety-inducing journey to find his dom, Harper Barrett. Simultaneously, his best friend Sammy finds a dom in Harper's best friend and business partner, Theodore Franz. Unbeknownst to both subs, their Doms are deeply entwined in a shadowy underworld, known for its power and influence.
Before long, Luca and Sammy are pulled into a turbulent realm filled with drugs, violence, sex, love, and personal growth. Along the way, they encounter various supporting characters, forging friendships and facing adversaries in this complex environment.
