Summary
Suzumeda Kaori only agreed to be a club manager because she had nothing better to do, and she found it hard to say no to the girl who asked her to do it. Now, it's her third and final year of high school, and an impending graduation is dredging up old insecurities about an injury, the future it stole from her, and its relationship to her high school club job she's come to love.

I am genuinely BAFFLED that this doesn't have more kudos when its literally one hell of a show-stopping fic.
Sometimes there are fics that you love because it's exactly what you want, maybe it's fluffy, maybe it fulfills your fantasies. Sometimes you come for those and got it, but you also learn something out of it.
This fic has actually TAUGHT me something.
Written from Kaori's POV, it already starts off interesting. Kaori is a character with very little to her in canon and so taking her as the centre of this story is so intriguing and you just wanna know more about her
It's beautifully written, and I especially love all the relationships the cast have with each other. Literally all of it could be absolutely canon. Platonic friendships should be written more it was beautiful 😭
