Jacques Schnee was often Criticised as a Cruel and unforgiving man, after all. He was the CEO of the SDC which took advantage of Faunus and would often use them for the mining of dust which could be considered slavery the more you thought about it.
However, Jacques suddenly had the urge to take a walk on a cold snowy night in Atlas and so he did, which surprised him at first since he wasn't the type of taking walks during such weather and timings.
"What in the world possessed me to take a walk in these conditions, I didn't even have the time to alert my bodyguards to follow me" Jacques muttered with a sigh " these strange new habits are getting in the way of my work life"
As the CEO walked down the streets of Atlas, he saw the mistreatment of Faunus around him and tried to scoff at the idea but he didn't, he felt bad for them, he thought they were mere animals that are only useful for labor, he felt remorse and regret...
"No way, why do I feel bad for them, they're only animals," Jacques thought to himself before hearing a commotion which compelled him to walk towards it, there he saw was a Young Cat Faunus surrounded by several employees of the SDC
"What are they doing?" Jacques muttered to himself as he saw his employees grab at the young Faunus which snapped something within Jacques and forced him to run into the commotion and punch one of his employees to the curb
"Sir..., what are you doing here?" The first Employee stuttered as the rest of them took a step back as Jacques glared at them while clenching his bloody fist
"From today onward, you are all fired, I suggest packing your bad and leaving you sickos" Jacques stated without a single hint of emotion except for rage, this led to the employees cowering in fear and regret as they ran back home while knowing they had to enter the SDC again to collect their belongings.
"Are you alright?" Jacques asked as he checked to see if the former employees he had just fired had managed to hurt or even done horrible things to her before he arrived at the scene
"I'm alright, thank you, sir, Faunus Discrimination and Slavery is getting more and more serious by the day and is starting to take its toll on me, I would've killed myself if they had gotten their way with me" The cat Faunus explained as she stood up and bowed down before trying to head back home only to find out she was limping
"Do you need help? you don't look too good" Jacques asked to which the Cat Faunus gave in and allowed him to escort her back home, they talked alongside each other during the journey as they headed into Mantle.
"I haven't been in Mantle for quite some time, it's nice to see that the Faunus discrimination here is much lower than in Atlas," Jacques said as he looked around and saw young Children both human and Faunus playing around with one another
"For someone that lives in Atlas, you have quite the enthusiasm for Faunus Rights, Unlike the CEO of the SDC, some of my friends decided to work as a miner in the company but Faunus don't even get much out of the job" The Young Faunus exclaimed but was stopped by Jacques who wanted to forget what he has to do
"Anyway, we've reached your Address, I think this is where we part ways, I have a wife and children to take of," Jacques said as he waved goodbye and headed back towards Atlas
"I've done so many horrible things, why did I do those things" Jacques muttered to himself as he looked towards his hands, and the blood of hundreds of Faunus was probably on his hands and he didn't know it. He was too cruel for a human being and he wondered what was wrong with him
Jacques didn't have the time to think about his current situation seriously though as he heard the sounds of trash cans coming from an Alley which prompted him to go towards the Alley filled with several trash cans, he stepped closer and closer and was holding his guard up.
He decided to walk over to the closest trashcan before the Trash can lid flew up which forced Jacques to narrowly dodge the trash can lid and made him fall onto his back before seeing a Black-haired head pop out of the trashcan, her crimson ears were saying side to side due to curiosity
The Child had silver eyes and her crimson wolf ears twitching while a half-eaten hotdog was in her mouth before throwing it into the air and swallowing it, the Faunus was dirty and their clothes were ragged, and her tail was swaying weakly.
The Child turned towards Jacques and tilted her head before hopping out and walking over to him cautiously, she saw how the man did not stand up straight away and was still silent while analyzing the Faunus child.
"Hello, what are you doing in the trash cans," Jacques asked as the Faunus tilted her head, she was around the same age as his Daughter Weiss, 5 years old and she didn't seem to understand what Jacques was saying
Jacques held the brim of his nose as he thought about what happened to this child and was going to walk away but instead, he picked up the Child and headed towards one of Mantle's fast-food restaurants.
"Why am I doing this, maybe it's because I feel pity for this Faunus, or is it regret that they may have ended up in this situation because of me," Jacques thought to himself as the Child lightly struggled
Jacques held her in a firm but gentle grip, making sure she wouldn't fall out of his grasp easily while making sure that it wasn't too uncomfortable for the young Faunus child, he didn't want to think much of it but chose to instead.
He walked towards the entrance of the fast-food restaurant in Mantle, Burger Emporium he had not gone to a fast food place for years ever since he became an Atlas Elite, he usually had preferred eating at Fancy restaurants with prestige and all but...
Jacques knew he didn't have a choice when it came to feeding this young Faunus Child as she was quite dirty and Atlas had a more dignified feel to it, he was sure they would've been kicked out within minutes of stepping into those restaurants.
Jacques carried the Faunus Child down onto a seat at one of the many free tables before heading towards a counter only for the Faunus to grab hold of his finger which made him stay, Jacques sighed and picked her up once again.
"Hello, what would you like to order sir," The Cashier said with a smile which reminded him of the simple life he used to live in the past, his heart ached at the thought of it, what truly changed and redefined his entire life
I would like 2 upsized Supreme Burger meals, 1 Omega Zinger, 1 Double Crunch Deluxe, Three kids meals, and 2 Ice creams for takeaway"Jacques asked as he took out his Credit card and paid
The Two waited for their order as he began trying to speak to the Faunus Child but to no avail as the Child had never properly learned how to speak or understand due to how she was probably homeless.
"My name is Jacques Schnee," Jacques told the Faunus who flapped her wolf ears, oblivious to what he just said, not being able to understand Jacques no matter what
"Ruby," The Faunus said as she pointed to a Red Jewel hanging from someone's necklace, Jacques was stunned as that didn't seem like a word a Child should know as their first word
"Is that your name?" Jacques asked to which the Faunus said Ruby again, Jacques had found out what the child's name was, it was Ruby and he found it to be quite the name for a Young Child
"Well then, Ruby, I guess it's time for us to take our order then," Jacques said as he took the order from the counter and handed her an Ice Cream, Ruby reluctantly took it, confused about what it may be
Ruby only tried it as Jacques took a lick of his ice cream to which Ruby followed and was hooked onto the Taste, she had never tasted such sweetness before and started gobbling up the ice cream. Jacques could feel himself melting due to how cute the scene was.
"Aww" Ruby pouted as she had already finished her Ice cream with a flash to which Jacques couldn't hold it anymore and gave her his ice cream to which Ruby tilted her head to at the offering.
"I don't have much of a sweet tooth, Ruby but it seems you do have one," Jacques said as he handed her the ice cream as she started to eat it but slowly so she could savor the taste this time.
Jacques had a lot of fun with Ruby on the way back home as he saw all the things she had done during the journey back to his house, he didn't realize he was already in front of the house by then.
Ruby stepped back as if she knew she couldn't enter such a house but Jacques picked her up and headed through the door as he headed to the dining table and set down the food.
"Now then, we must remain quiet, we don't want to wake up my family so suddenly," Jacques said before being tapped on the Shoulder which led him to scream only to find out it was Klein "Sir, may I ask where have you been and who is that little dirtied Faunus behind you," Klein asked to which Jacques searched for an Excuse in his mind, he didn't want Klein to think he was doing some very weird things "She's the New maid for Weiss," Jacques said before realizing it was a good idea, Weiss would have a friend, he had an excuse to take care of the young Faunus, and Ruby didn't have to live off the trash and live on the streets from now on "Pardon, a new maid for Weiss?" Klein asked as he tried to think over what Jacques said who explained to him that it would be a good idea as Weiss doesn't get along with other kids her age at School Klein nodded but pointed to the fast food that Jacques had purchased to which Jacques asked him to clean up Ruby as she got quite dirty from working in the mines but ultimately it was a lie. Klein understood and took Ruby to a Bathroom so she could get cleaned and redressed which led to Jacques slumping into his Chair sighing, he wasn't that good at Lying and it was a trait he hated.
Jacques stood up and walked over to his room and found his Wife, Willow Schnee as she drank her Alcohol too which Jacques took the bottle and dropped it into the trash.
"What are you doing Jacques," Willow asked before being hugged by Jacques as she felt the tears fall down his face as he apologized for his actions and how he treated all of them.
Willow was surprised and hugged him back almost as if she was accepting his apology despite the things he had done, Willow accepted his apology and Jacques stood back up and helped his Wife up.
"I've bought some dinner, let's go wake up the kids, Klein and Ruby will be joining us as well," Jacques said to which Willow nodded before asking herself, who was Ruby
Jacques and Willow walked down the halls before coming across the rooms of their three children, Jacques decided to wake up Weiss while Willow woke up Winter and Whitley.
"Oh, Weiss, it's time to wake up," Jacques said as he entered his daughter's room only to see her reading a book under a light while at her study desk
"Weiss, I think it may be time for you to stop studying now, lets have some food," Jacques said as he closed Weiss's Book and held her hand
"What is it, Father," Weiss asked keeping her guard up as Jacques sighed as he sat beside her and apologized to her while explaining to her, a Surprise to which Weiss had a puzzled look
As the two went out, they saw Winter and Whitley awake beside Willow, while Winter averted her eyes from her father, Whitley was too sleepy to focus on his surroundings.
The entire Schnee family went down towards the dining room and Weiss saw the Wolf Faunus but in a maid dress, Weiss was stunned by her despite being so young and found a weird attraction to her.
"Ah, Klein, you've finished setting up the table, wonderful" Jacques exclaimed as the entire Schnee family sat down at the table with Klein sitting beside Jacques and Winter while Whitley sat beside Willow
Weiss saw 2 empty seats and saw Ruby sit in one of them as she wiggled her Wolf's ears, Weiss sat down beside her and decided to touch the ears despite Klein asking her not to.
Ruby shivered at the touch but suddenly started liking it as she started moving her head into Weiss's hand for a few head pats before Jacques interrupted them.
"Now then, I've decided to treat our family to quite the meal tonight, this is fast food from Burger Emporium," Jacques said as he handed the food he had ordered to his children, wife, and butler
Willow was shocked at such a sight, she had eaten fast food years ago when she managed to sneak out of the Schnee manor and head to Mantle for a meal when she was a teenager, she had missed the taste and sight of Fast food since then.
The Schnee Children were confused by such foods, they didn't have cutlery and their drinks were served in strange-looking cups but they only began to try as Ruby decided to eat her Kid's burger quite savagely.
Klein chuckled at how the Schnee Children decided to follow her actions and found their meals to be quite enjoyable, Klein was surprised at the fact that Jacques had managed to buy specific fast food items that his children liked was surprising
"Father, what did you mean by surprise earlier?" Weiss asked as she continued giving head pats to the Faunus beside her, Weiss's heart was melting at the sight of her cuteness.
"Well, Weiss, from now on, Ruby will be your maid" Jacques announced that shocking the entire family except Ruby and Klein, Jacques had already told Klein while Ruby who has not gone to school before did not understand what he just said
"Jacques isn't that a bit too sudden and also a Faunus as Weiss's maid, we already have Klein taking care of her" Willow informed to which Jacques held her hand
"I think it's best if we give Klein less work, we can't take care of our children all the time and Klein taking care of 3 children may be starting to take its toll on him" Jacques answered to which Klein crossed his arms and looked away from them
"Anyway, Weiss and Ruby are roughly the same age, granted, Faunus and Humans age differently, it's still a great way for Weiss to have a friend her age"Jacques whispered not wanting his children to listen to what he just said
"Father, will all due respect, why are you having a Faunus Child be the maid of Weiss?" Winter asked curiously while also taking on a defensive stance, she didn't want her father to be playing any tricks on them
"I found out that a Child was somehow working in the SDC mines and bought her here, she has no family and such the SDC must take responsibility and I so happened to be there" Jacques explained as he glanced at Ruby and Weiss
The Two different Children were starting to start a friendship with each other, although it may be between the master and the maid, they were still fostering a kind of Friendship.
"Well then, are all of you done with your food?" Jacques asked as he stood up and asked Klein to clean up the table and throw the remaining trash away.
Klein was about to call Ruby to help but Weiss was hugging her and she asked Klein if he wanted Ruby to be with her at all times and didn't want her to stray too far from her.
Klein understood what Weiss wanted and let Ruby stay with Weiss saying thank you before she dragged Ruby back to her room in a flash as she locked the door behind her.
"I always wanted a pet but father wouldn't allow me to have one but you're like one, no offense though" Weiss stuttered with her words but Ruby had no clue what Weiss had just said and started requesting head pats again
"Alright, Ruby, Alright," Weiss said as she patted her head while laying down in bed with her happy that she has gotten something that made her heart race with Joy
12 Year's have Passed
Weiss laid in her bed waiting for her Alarm to wake her up but she couldn't hear it, she knew something was off and decided to wake up only to see Ruby, her maid trying to sneak out after turning her alarm off.
Ruby tried to run but Weiss smirked and waved something in the air to which stopped Ruby in her tracks forcing her to turn around, Weiss was waving a bell with Ruby's name on it.
"Yes, Weiss..." Ruby said awkwardly as she walked over to her, Ruby had grown into her maid outfit fitting all the right places which made Weiss love her even more
Weiss immediately grabbed Ruby and dragged her back into her bed with Ruby struggling from her tight hold on her, she could feel her cuddling the right spots.
"Weiss, stop..." Ruby said as Weiss started touching her Faunus parts which made Ruby melt into her arms which ceased most of her struggling and would've made them stuck in bed for hours if... Her father hadn't come to save the day
"Weiss, Today is the special day, it's the day before you have to head to Beacon," Jacques said through the door which alerted Weiss who freed Ruby from her grasp
"Hurry up and stop cuddling with Ruby, after all, she's the one cooking you your breakfast for today," Jacques said before leaving, Weiss looked towards Ruby and smirked as Ruby felt her ears droop suddenly
"Why are you smirking like that Weiss, and especially towards me?" Ruby said as Weiss stood up and headed towards her closet to pick out a dress for the day.
"Oh nothing, I just want to see what Cookie Surprise you will make for today" Weiss exclaimed which turned Ruby to the same color as her name
"It's not my fault that cookies taste that good" Ruby mumbled as she helped Weiss search for a casual dress for today, right when she found a dress and turned around, Weiss gave her a head pat as a reward for doing so
"You're so cute and childish," Weiss said as she dragged Ruby into the bathroom with her, went they were young, Ruby decided it was a good idea to bathe with each other and it became quite a habit over the years.
Ruby bathed Weiss as she scrubbed her silky white hair as Weiss also took the opportunity to bathe Ruby's tail, her tail wagging which made it hard for Weiss to wash it.
After all the bathing was done, Ruby who had taken 2 baths by accident now had a brighter look than Weiss who was still trying to comb her hair.
"I don't see why you need to comb your hair," Ruby said as she took over for the SDC Heir and brushed Weiss's hair feeling how smooth her hair was
"You wouldn't get it, besides, you don't have long hair like mine, that's why" Weiss explained while Ruby decided to fake taking it as an insult resulting in the 2 chuckling at their actions
After all, was said and done, the 2 went down to the dining room and found Willow and Jacques sitting beside each other reading articles while Winter was busy conversing with Ironwood on how she will have to delay her return for a bit.
Whitley decided to go stay beside Klein and discuss with him some cooking recipes he had learned and how he could've improved them in the future.
"Oh, Weiss, I heard Ruby is cooking breakfast for today, would you mind if I ask for the cooking recipes, the taste is unbelievable," Whitley asked as he waved over to Weiss, Ruby walked over and told him about her recipes
"They're quite good friends, I can't believe Whitley turned out as this" Winter said to Weiss as she had finished her call, Ironwood allowed Winter to delay her return since Weiss was going to beacon the day after.
"Weiss, me and your mother have concluded your journey on becoming a huntress," Jacques said as he tapped his Scroll and a hologram popped up
"After you have successfully become a Huntress, you will become the SDC CEO but if the chance that Atlas or the other kingdoms need a Huntress, you will have the full backing of us and the SDC," Jacques said as he remembered a decision he made years ago
He has transformed the SDC into a corporation that would help the needs of both the Faunus and also humans, he had struck a deal with the White fang that they will be their combative division.
Sienna Kahn was partially against the Idea but Adam Taurus saw Jacques personally and convinced Sienna, he remembered the day that he was marked with the SDC symbol but...
Adam could see a new type of person in Jacques's eyes, one willing to change and take care of the Faunus despite the glares from the other major Atlas families.
Jacques helped to reform the safety measures of the SDC mines and used machines instead to do the mining work, he gave the Faunus new jobs based on their abilities and gave them more pay. This changed the SDC future forever and Weiss didn't mind it at all
"Father, all I have is but one request when I head to Beacon," Weiss said which piqued the interest of the current SDC CEO
"Please don't send White fang bodyguards to Beacon, I know it may be dangerous but it's an Academy full of Huntsmen and there's not much of a need for them to be there," Weiss asked expecting to head into a debate with her father only for her father to chuckle
"Don't worry, I have something better in mind" Jacques asked to which, Weiss was going to ask what it was before a familiar and tasty aroma filled the dining hall
Ruby popped out of the kitchen with stacks of Pancakes each with different types of toppings and flavors, Jacques and Willow got a Mocha cookie flavored pancake with toffee surrounding it.
Winter had a sugar cookie pancake stack with a layer of white powder sugar covering them, Whitley got a Chocolate peppermint cookie pancake with candy canes forming a smile.
Klein had a stack of regular pancakes but had all sorts of toppings and spaces beside his plate so he could customize it himself.
Weiss had a red velvet cookies pancake with a Candy rose on top of it while Ruby had cooked herself Chocolate chip pancakes with Chocolate chip cookies beside them.
Ruby decided to take the first bite of her pancakes and Weiss chuckled at the sight, Ruby always took the first bite without a thought, the Schnee family loved how energetic and enthusiastic the Faunus was.
The Schnee family always ate their pancakes elegantly and slowly taking a bite to savor the taste, Weiss was doing so and was waiting patiently for the Faunus to be on her knees and using her puppy dog eyes and ears to share with her but...
Recently, Ruby had begun heading to the Weapon Workshop every day for the past few weeks, and Weiss was annoyed by this, she had always accompanied Weiss so she can gawk at the Weapons in there, especially Weiss's weapon, Myrtenaster
Weiss decided to eat her pancakes more quickly which surprised her Family seeing as how she allowed Ruby to roam the halls of their house by herself a few years prior, she was abandoning her pride for a few seconds.
Weiss had finished and picked up her plate and utensils and put it into the sink in the kitchen before running off in the direction where Ruby had gone off to.
Weiss could see her loving maid walking through the hallways and she decided to rush over and when she was right behind her, she grabbed her tail.
Ruby stopped but didn't have time to react as Weiss pinned her to the wall, their eyes locked with each other, Weiss nibbled the Faunus's Ears which made Ruby groan.
"Now then, why have you been heading to the Weapon workshop more recently," Weiss asked as she held on tightly to Ruby
"Nothing..."Ruby answered before Weiss crept up closer to her face, Ruby could feel her ice-cold breath along her throat and shudder at the feeling
"Tell me or... I'm taking away your right to bake cookies" Weiss said which broke Ruby completely as she apologized and promised that she will tell her
"I was building a weapon so I could follow you to Beacon, your father helped me as well" Ruby exclaimed which froze Weiss
Weiss had let go and had a weird smile and asked Ruby to show off her weapon to Weiss, Ruby was sweating due to how creepy she was acting before heading to the Weapon workshop with her.
Ruby moved a few boxes and showed her Crescent rose, a High Caliber Sniper Scythe, it had a sleek design and it utilized dust far more differently than Weiss's rapier.
"Interesting, and you didn't tell me?" Weiss said as she held and grasped the weapon, Ruby knelt on her knees and put on her cutest puppy dog eyes while wagging her ears and tail
"Forgive me, Mistress Weiss, please don't punish me," Ruby said which made Weiss nosebleed at her actions, Weiss found out she had a kink like this when Ruby first had done this
"Fine..., alright but how did you even get through Beacon's customs and registrations, you don't have parents, you haven't had proper training, and..." Weiss said but stopped due to Ruby suddenly drooping her ears
"How many things have you hid behind my back..." Weiss sighed as she waited for an answer to how Ruby had managed to even enter Beacon
"The Headmaster owed your father a Favour and asked if I could be enrolled into Beacon under a scholarship, he said something about my eyes but I have no clue why" Ruby answered as Ruby was still oblivious to most things
Ruby had helped out with Weiss's schoolwork before and had managed to pick up on topics she had never learned before, Weiss did well in the basic academic studies while Ruby helped to take care of the things like Grimm studies and history.
Weiss placed down the weapon and looked at her watch, they have already taken up quite a lot of time as it had become the Afternoon and Weiss wanted to spend this day special.
Weiss had gone towards the living room of the Manor only to find her entire family ready to go out with Jacques smirking at her daughter's face.
"Well then, Let's spend as much time as possible as a family," Jacques said as the entire Schnee family went out, their minds set on having fun together.
Meanwhile, in Patch
"So, Qrow, how's your kid with Summer," Taiyang asked as he sat beside Raven who was calling her tribe asking them how long till they come back to the town.
"Sapphire rose? She's doing well for her age, she's going to enroll in Beacon soon due to her silver eyes and combat ability" Qrow said as he showed a picture of Sapphire
Her long flowing black hair was like her mother's while her eyes were silver like her mother's, she had the personality of Qrow and addiction to Soda drinks.
"Have you found your other kid?" Taiyang asked which made Qrow silent, Taiyang didn't want to ask but he had to ask for the well-being of his friend
"Nothing yet just like the previous few years" Qrow answered as he suddenly started shedding a tear from his eye
"Qrow, you have to let her go, she is..." Taiyang said before Qrow slammed his fists on the table probably alerting anybody close to the house
"Ruby is not dead, I know she isn't, Raven here does not have the connection like me and Summer do, if this is what you wanted to talk about, then I'm leaving," Qrow said as he turned into a Crow and flew away
Qrow flew towards his house that was in another part of the patch, he could see his Faunus Wife, Summer in the Garden tending to the plants while Sapphire helped her.
He flew down and Sapphire ducked down as Qrow swooped in and transformed back in front of them while hugging his family.
"Hey, Qrow, how was the talk with Taiyang, what did he say?" Summer asked but she got the answer as Qrow's stare told her everything
"Dad, Ruby is my older sister right? She should've grown up like me by now, do you think she doesn't want to see us" Sapphire asked when Sapphire found out she had an older sister by a year
She was overjoyed but that joy was short-lived as she had found out her sister Ruby was taken away by Grimm in the past, she longed hoped for Ruby to be alive trying to help her father as much as she could.
"When I become a full-fledged Huntress, I will help you as much as possible Dad" Sapphire exclaimed as she held up Crescentia Rose, a High Caliber Assault Rifle Scythe
"I know you will," Qrow said as each of them shed a tear which helped to water the plant below them
Back at Atlas, Ruby had quite the time of her Life with the Schnee family, Ruby had kept close to Weiss no matter what, and Weiss as well kept close to Ruby.
The Schnee Family watched a Movie at the Cinema in Atlas which resulted in Ruby cuddling with Weiss due to the sheer amount of Cold in the Cinema.
They headed out to restaurants and went to the shopping malls both in Atlas and in Mantle, Klein and Ruby were 2 different people from the Schnee family but they were the reason why this family was fixed.
