   "…This is ridiculous. I feel ridiculous. Writing out the words “Dear Diary” like some frivolous teenage girl? I know that’s beneath me. This whole “diary” thing is beneath me. It’s less a diary and more a journal. A way to keep a baseline, so to speak. Baseline readings of myself and whatever happens while I’m trapped in this sorry excuse for a high school. Not a diary."

   Or: Byakuya has a diary during the events of THH. He needs a place to vent and have his opinions. It's kinda inner-monolouge-y if yk what I mean.
