Doppelgänger

Summary:

His parents' upgrade to the Fenton Catcher couldn't have come at a better time; Sam and Tucker have really started to get on his case—both his cases—about how Fenton and Phantom should finally meet. And... so far, so good!

...or not.

Chapter 1: Part 1

Notes:

This arc takes place a decent time after Sam and Tucker meet Fenton. I'm hoping to fill in more of the events between That Fenton Kid and Doppelgänger at some point, but for now I'm still doing these arcs in whatever order the inspiration strikes, haha. And this one's long overdue. So, enjoy!

Strip 1:

[BBBZZZZTTTT]

[blink]

Phantom & Fenton: Yyyeah, this is gonna take some getting used to.

 

Strip 2:

Phantom: Last time I did this was a total disaster...

Fenton: At least mom and dad made some tweaks. The Catcher's results should be more stable... And, so far so good!

Phantom: Yeah! No weird side effects—Personality or otherwise!

(Hey, if this goes well... Maybe I'll pass algebra 2!)

 

Strip 3:

Phantom & Fenton: This will be easy!

Phantom & Fenton: ...

Phantom & Fenton: I've got to stop doing that.

 

Strip 4:

Fenton: Sam and Tuck are probably already at the arcade. We  shouldn't keep them waiting. Wanna fly ahead?

Phantom: Sure, I'll cut over the bridge—

[Both Fenton and Phantom's ghost sense goes off.]

Phantom: —I'll take care of it.

Fenton: hehehe

 

Strip 5:

Fenton: ALRIGHT! Time to have some FUN—

Fenton: —nngh oh wow that's some double vision

Fenton: Ooooookayyyy, okay. So maybe a few side effects.
