Be My Cavalier

Summary:

A Third princess is sent to the dreary Ninth for a "vacation" (read: is shuffled conveniently out of the way). Immediately upon arrival, she discovers there's been a murder, and must team up with the doleful Reverend Mother to investigate. What could go wrong?

Hi! I'm gonna start off by saying that I'm probably never going to finish this fic - I haven't been inspired to keep plotting/writing it for a while - and I totally understand if that puts you off reading! However, I'm proud of what I have done, and I don't want it to just languish in my docs forever, so here it is. Basically the backstory of this fic is: I decided to write what "Be My Cavalier," the story mentioned in the extras at the end of GTN, might look like. It started out as a fun little experiment and grew into a 30,000 word monster with still no end in sight. Hope you enjoy if you decide to read it!
