Chapter Text

A bright flash of light envelopes paradise before it disappears, taking some people with it and leaving two streaming titan bodies in its wake.

The kidnapped people appear outside in a different dimension. Most people land on their feet with the exception of Eren and Porco who fall to the ground disoriented. Confused, they look around, most of them on their guards, surveying the area.

"Hello everyone," a voice says, cutting off all the shouting and panicking.

"I've brought you here to watch the future. Now how you'll be doing that I'll explain if you decide you want to stay.

In my opinion, I have to give you a choice, it would be wrong of me not to ask as the contents of what you're about to watch are quite graphic. After all, it's your lives deaths always follow, so I'll give you a choice. 

What I'll be showing you is the future, who lives, who dies, who tells your story. (I'm sorry I had to)

How this war ends, who "wins" etcetera. You'll watch the future with two prices hanging over your heads or you can go back and remember this as a dream-like experience but as you fight the what-if question will always linger with you. I'll give you ten minutes to discuss and decide." A voice says and then goes silent.

After the confusion, everyone breaks apart into groups to discuss.

"Eren, what do you think we should do?" Zeke asks his brother helping him up as the Yeagerist surrounds them, valuing his opinion above everyone else's.

"Why would we need this information? No one has the power or means to stop us, we've taken over the military of paradise, most of the residents on this island support the Yeagerist  and all we have to do now is meet up and use the founder the way we planned, what exactly do we need to waste time here for?"

"But anything could happen in a day, isn't it better we stay and get reassurance that nothing can stop us now?" Yelena contradicts Eren's state.

"I agree with Yelena, we shouldn't take any precautions, let's be patient and watch we have nothing to lose anyway." Floch agrees with Yelena's statement.

About to lose his temper Eren calms down, 'I can't change their minds and it'll be suspicious if I keep insisting, this may ruin my plan but since the time our kidnapper gave us is almost up, I'll think on this another time.'

"I'm sure it won't work anyway some deaths are inevitable" he decides on saying keeping the rest of his thoughts to himself.

'I especially should know' He mumbles under his breath.

"I should be dead," Levi starts the conversation off

Everyone looks at him like he suddenly gained height.

So he tries to continue "Well the last thing I remember is an explosion, I was-i was-, what the heck why can't I say what I'm thinking?"

"Maybe the reason you can't say anything is that it is part of the price the person who brought us here talked about. I-I think this will get annoying very quickly" she sighs.

"We've only got five minutes left so we should decide on whether we want to stay or not." Hange decides on saying.

"I think we should say so far the person who brought us here has shown no sign of harming us, granted we've been here for 5 minutes, I see no reason to  not accept this gracious offer." Historia reply.

"I agree apparently all we have to do is watch the future, upcoming deaths can be prevented." Armin says looking as tired as everyone else.

"But the person who brought us here mentioned two prices, if the first one is restricting what we say then what's the second?" Mikasa contradicts the two.

"The second price couldn't be something simple like we can't leave till we've watched everything they want us to watch. It's probably direr than that" Connie replies and Jean nods along not trusting the kidnapper.

"So far the pros outweigh the cons if we think about it logically. Isn't it better to stay?" Armin asks then, a hint of pleading underlying his tone.

"But what if the second price is something deadly?" Mikasa asks again, wanting to get back to their time.

"But if it is deadly we wouldn't be able to view the future like our kidnapper is supposedly going to make us do, so it would defeat the whole purpose," Historia argues.

"This isn't going to work, let's have individual votes." Levi cuts off the argument just as it's about to start.

(This takes place right after I finish talking)

"Falco!" Gabi runs towards him. "Are you okay now? Is your head still hurting?" She looks at the bandage around his head and inspects him for other injuries.

Falco, embarrassed, tries to push her away but is too weak to do so. "I'm okay Gabi, actually I feel fine." He says surprised.

"Falco" Colt exclaims, hugging him.

"Gabi!" Reiner follows on, happy to see them safe. Magath looks at the kids happy they're back while Porco is still semi disoriented 

"Okay, we need to decide on whether or not we would like to stay. Our kidnapper gave us 10 minutes and 5 are already gone, we should stay from what I've noticed. They have no killing intent and we could gain a lot from this." Magath cuts off all small conversations.

"But commander our kidnapper mentioned 2 prices, we don't even know what they are so they could be dangerous, even deadly. Is it wise to stay?" Pieck replies.

"We should follow the commander, it seems like a good idea and if we have any more traitors like Zeke in our military we might be able to sniff them out." Gabi agrees with the commander.

"We should just go back. We were literally about to start a war, there is no guarantee that what we will witness here will be correct. For all we know we could just waste our time" Porco says getting up from the floor.

"Let's take a vote then majority rules then" Colt says trying to settle the brewing arguments.

"Okay guys times up you don't need to publicly vote as I've already heard your decisions. By majority vote, you will be staying. To the people who didn't want to stay, I'm sorry but you're going to have to deal with it.

"If you go through the doors of the building behind you and walk straight ahead, the third door on your left will be where the future will be shown. No fighting as you walk please."

The crew all turn around to find a mansion behind them. Suspicious, they walk towards the front door. As they get closer it opens making them gasp before they head inside looking for the third door on the left.

As they walk in silence the voice talks again "You're probably wondering why the house is so big. That's because you'll spend quite a long time here watching your future isn't just a one day thing so after your done watching what you need to for today I'll give you a general map to explore this place, before you continue reacting tomorrow,  if your worried people will notice your gone don't, time has been stopped in your dimension you'll return to the exact moment you came from." 

They find the door with a sign on it saying reaction room and Levi steps forward opening it to reveal a theatre type room but smaller with different types of chairs around the room. Entering the room they all find a seat and the barriers go up but they don't notice that. 

"Okay So i'll explain how we will do this, I'm sure most of you have doubts about the future we will be watching so to start off you'll be watching snippets that I deem important or will prove to you than what you're watching is real footage of the past. The big flat black thing in front of you is a TV, so you can call it that, how it works well I'll leave some books for you to read about if you want to in the library." The voice takes a pause stopping questions that were about to erupt before continuing.

"Most of what you watch will be recent with some exceptions to a few years back. Anytime any of you speak the tv will automatically be paused till all is quiet again. When it's lunch time I'll give you a break to go eat before we continue. Any questions? "

"Aren't you going to tell what those prices you mentioned are?" Yelena asks. 

"Well one group of people already knows what one of the prices are but no you'll have to figure it out as you watch."

"Do you have a rough time frame of how long we'll be staying here?" Armin asks.

"Well really it depends on you guys and how you react to this information, how many breaks you're going to need, etc. So no, there is no fixed time frame. Any more questions? "

"Why are you doing this?, what do you gain from showing us the future?" Eren asks not happy his plan was about to go up in flames. 

"Well first off the future in my opinion is trash pointless death well not pointless but could have been prevented deaths, the end of the war wasn't something I would wish on any of you even with how it ended. Again the amount of people in this room alone who died or almost did just doesn't sit right and I've got the power to make a change so I am this will benefit you guys and I'm just doing this so you'll will be happy. Any other questions? "

Everyone stunned from my answer have no other questions.

"Okay i'll give you thirty minutes to get settled and do whatever you need to do, bathrooms are to the right if you need it."

"To amplify and convey what is happen everyone in this room shall feel the biggest/most present emotion that is being felt on screen as well as get some feel the pain of injuries that anyone gets, if the person dies then you'll stop feeling the pain. Unless of course we move to a different scene or the person is treated. You'll understand what I mean when we start this." The voice states.

It starts with a view of the sky a black bird quickly flys by. The sun is bright but blurred out. The perspective zooms out and the black bird is seen circling the sun. 

The picture changes and we can see a green eye,it looks distracted unfocused even confused, it zooms out and we can see falco on the screen he's got blood just underneath where his hair ends, hexs in his marleyain training outfit with his yellow armband right above his elbow, his arm is reached up as if trying to grab something but failing he's lying on the ground his clothes look ruffled with dirt on it and expression is that of hopelessness.
"Hey this is no place to be right now" falco speaks. 

"That's you falco." Gabi exclaims. 

It zooms out again and we see a crater beside him two dead mangled bodies can be seen to his left both of them obviously dead, there's a gun beside one and on the other side of falco is a broken shovel.
Bullets are flying every which way, how one isn't hitting him is a miracle on its own.

"So fly away-"  He says and there is an explosion with black clouds following after, a body is thrown with the explosion and it moves to falcos perspective, the smoke now shading some of the sky. 

"It sounds like war but if this is the future who are we fighting?" Colt asks. 

"-you've got wings, use them." His voice sounds hopeless. 

Colt appears in falco's line of vision but it's blurry. "FALCO" he shouts. Hovering over him. 

"Brother, why are you here?" Falco says, ominous music plays in the background, there's smoke all around two bodies lying on each other in the background. 

'Why does this seem so familiar?' Falco questions himself. 

"Good, I'm glad you're able to talk to us." He says raising him up and putting his hat on him. 

"Colt move!" A soldier shouts as runs by before being shot and falling down. 

"I'll carry you back-" Colt says while putting falco on his back and standing. 
"-try to hold on" he starts running. 

The picture focuses on a gun as it starts shooting erratically at them and other eldians trying to run away. Two of them are shot clear in the head and go limp instantly crumbling and falling to the ground. 

It zooms in on colt and falco, with colt shouting as he runs, falco is hanging onto him but it doesn't seem like he's all there. 

He runs a distance before falling flat on his face. Falco's hat comes off. 

No-one laughs but a few smiles appear on some faces. 

"Falco!"someone shouts. Falco is pulled down into the trench. 

"It can't possibly be right?" Falco mumbles but some people around him hear him. 

The camera changes and we see behind them. Dead bodies, barbed wires and stake looking sticks litter the battlefield.
Colt and falco disappear into the trench.
The image changes and we see two men coming out of what looks like a room, they're wearing what Colt is wearing except they have no armband. 

"Report what happened colt?" Then one who came out first asks. We see colt out of breath, hands on his knees in front of  the man. 

"The eldian advance squad has been wiped out-" he takes a few more deep breaths, stands up straighter and continues. "- they took a direct hit from an artillery shell and got blown to bits." He goes back to his former position still breathing heavily. 

"What about the trench? The man asks. 

"It's hopeless we can dig any further" colt explains.
"Oh- and who decided that?Are you trying to give me orders now eldian?" He spits out the word eldian.
The man behind him shouts. " you subordinate mutt, you watch your tone with commander mcgowan" he yabs his gob. 

"But sir if things keep going like this-" He's cut off as the scene changes. We see three children. On the left we have a black haired boy wearing glasses, in the middle it's a brunette girl with piercing brown eyes. And on the right we have another girl we white hair and blue eyes. 

The one one right looks disappointed, the middle one seems angry and the one on the left has no expression on her. 

Some people gasp in surprise clearly recognising the people on screen. Tears leak out of Gabi and falco's eyes. 

"Falco You look like you're drunk" the whited haired girl says. 

"Guess he must have hit his head pretty good". The girl in the middle says.
"How much of the last four years do you remember falco?You know we're at war right?" 

"Who are you, where am i?" Falco looks dazed and confused.

"I don't get it, wasn't I just flying around with a couple of swords in my hands?" He looks around while speaking.

'Why would he be using sword?' Hange wonders.

He makes a whoosh sound. "Like that and there were titan too-" he is interrupted as water is poured on his head, some of the blood washing away with the water.

"Hey why are you showing us this?, this isn't the future, this has all already happened" Gabi shouts getting up from her seat. Falco gets up with her trying to calm her down but is ultimately failing.

Soooo, I know your expecting a new chapter and its ready I posted it on wattpad and ffnet yesterday like I promised myself but I'm finding it hard to make stuff bold and all that as its really trippy so posting on here might take longer okay byeeeeee.

Chapter Text

(Mikasa's scarf can be found right beside her just so ya know it's like on the table beside her folded neatly)

Zeke gets ready to throw,

"Why are we starting off with him?" Commander Mcgath speaks still angry at Zeke's betrayal.

the screen changes to the ammo in his hand, he winds up and throws hitting some of his targets but they retaliate and start shooting. We see his face gasping in surprise and we see the ammo being shot at him, he uses his hand to try and shield himself before reiner comes in front of him and protects him, falling from the shots, we then see reiner emerge from the smoke made from the debris flying everywhere falling and zeke is right behind him throwing his shot and finishing em off. We see the ships on fire sinking before Zeke throws more ammo effectively drowning the people and the ships, before the scene goes black.

"If Reiner is helping Zeke and this is apparently the past as according to our kidnapper, wouldn't this be the war that we just ended a few months ago?" (Correct me if I'm wrong but it has been a few months right?)

Reiner spits out blood almost falling off his chair,  "REINER WHAT'S  WRONG WITH YOU?!" Pieck shouts in alarm moving towards him. "It's just the condition I put up acting up don't worry once this scene is over, Reiner will be back to normal."

"Following the loss of their fleet the mideast allied forces had no choice but to sign a peace treaty on Marley's terms. It was a long difficult war for marley-" we hear Armin's voice narrate, sinking ships can be seen on the screen.

Most attention is moved to Armin "Why are you narrating?" Jean asks him, getting confused.
"How would I know this might be the past but why would I be narrating the war going on at their side?" Armin answers Jean. 
"Boys calm down now, miss kidnapper, would you mind telling us why Armin is the one narrating?" Our Queen historia asks.

"Sorry your majesty but that isn't something I can reveal as of yet and you can just address me as Talia, now let's get back to watching." Everyone looks at the screen noticing it's been paused before paying attention as it continues.

"-But it did end in victory however the war also made it clear to the whole world that the power of titans would soon be eclipsed-" we can now see zeke looking at reiner over his shoulder. One of Reiner's arms is gone, a big chunk of his neck and his other arm is bent in an awkward position, steam is coming from all places.

Gabi and falco gasp at how banged up reiner got looking at their areiner to see if he's any better to find him slumped on his chair, eyes hazy and unfocused.

"-Knowing this the leaders of Marley would resolve to obtain the founding titan as quickly as possible" now we can see from what looks like reiner perspective zeke, with the aot season 4 part 1 ending song (syogeki) playing softly in the background.

We see Gabi and Falco's distraught faces with Gabi saying "oh no!" Their eyes waver like tears are about to fall.

The image changes to a newspaper, showing the battle scene. Some background character reads " Thanks to the incomparable bravery of the marlian army fortslava fell and the the mideast fleet was sunk." Cheers are heard all around. "Ahhhh, that's incredible I knew our soldiers would pull it off." 

The Yeagerist except Zeke and Eren are scowl unhappy their enemy won. Zeke and Eren being expressionless at this scene.

We see Jean looking fine af in that suit and hat on screen paying some money to a stall and buying a newspaper. He walks off reading the paper before closing it and holding it in one hand, the song getting louder before it gets quiet and the screen blacks out.

"That was you at the end wasn't it Jean?" Connie asks.
"Yeah it was." 
"Wait, you guys had infiltrated Marley for that long?" Pieck asks as she and Porco look baffled and horrified.
The scouts glare but no one replies

At the same time, as the screen dims Reiner looks noticeably better, his complexion leaving the pale side and his breath calming down. Gabi sighs in relief.

Chapter Text

"Mr koslow" Falco calls the man in the sling.

"What's wrong with these soldiers?" The one being held by the soldier looks like he's about to cry.

"Falco you're too kind for your own good" Colt says, ruffling his hair as falco swats his arm away embarrassed.

"UGH stay out of the way you nosy brat, this is a sorry bunch of eldians with mental trauma."

We can see Eren second in line looking crusty af.

"EREN?! THAT'S WHERE YOU CHOOSE TO HIDE WHEN YOU WENT UNDERCOVER?" Connie asks him in surprise as everyone else looks at him wondering why.

He avoids their gaze keeping his eyes on the screen.

"It happens to our guys too?" Falco asks

The soldier speaks some more but I'm too lazy to write that, before whistling and we see flashes of the battlefield.

"Kaboom" he says and everyone starts flailing and running around while Eren just stands there before they all fall and Eren does so emotionlessly.

The soldiers laugh and F alco goes to help them. He sees Eren and kneels beside him. "Your armbands on the wrong side." He starts to fix it "it's okay sir, I'm sure that you'll get better, it's over now you don't have to fight anymore." The screen goes black.

"Wow, Eren you really look like a piece of shit here, even more so than you looked on the ship" Levi says nonchalantly.

Eren glances at him still silent.

"Say Reiner not to pry but I hear you barely escaped from those devil's with your life" Gabi's father says.

"Leave Reiner alone dad, his time on that island isn't some light hearted war story, those devil's put him through hell so even if it wasn't classified there's no way that it's something he would wanna talk about." Gabi interferes.

"I remember that it was a few weeks ago before the fair." Gabi says helping everyone figure out the timeline.

"Your right, sorry nephew, forgive me." They all look at Reiner waiting for a reaction when he puts his hand on his chin.

"No, I can tell you some things. As you know I infiltrated their military. As expected they acted like devil's, each of them was savage and cruel. During our induction one devil started eating a potato, when the instructor yelled at her she told him without hesitation that she stole it cause it looked good. She knew she crossed the line so she bribed the instructor by offering him half the potato, however the half she offered him was visibly smaller than her half; they don't even know what compromise means there." As he speaks the camera zooms in more on his face.

"What gives you the right to speak so fondly about Sasha Reiner?, we're devil's aren't we, our whole relationship was all a ploy to you, it didn't matter to you didn't it?" Connie says, still angry about Sasha's death caused by his cousin.

"I-" Reiner starts, but is cut off, tears gather in his eyes but he blinks them away pushing down his emotions.

"Each of them was more hopeless than the last, there was one guy so stupid he'd forget why he'd gone into the bathroom, an insincere jerk who only thought about himself, a soft hearted oaf who only ever though of others, a brave but single minded fool and a bunch of chumps who followed his lead, alongside all those diffErent people stood me and my comrades the time that we spent there was truly hell. His raspy voice finishes and we are startled by the movement of the window. His mother's horrified face is the last thing we see before the screen dims out.

"Your actions and your words really are the opposite of each other. Are you really okay Reiner?" Armin asks, not expecting an answer.

Eren, historia and Magath all look at him all for entirely different reasons wanting to hear his answer.

But again he ignores them not wanting to share his feelings, especially in front of everyone.

"Incredible-" Someone says and we see rubble up in flames.
"-they're even stronger than expected."

The female Titan's leg is shown before it moves to her face. The flashes of documents and we see Annie's picture on it. "The female titan, its greatest strength is its versatility." We now see Annie, a spotlight trying to follow her is shown as she runs. "Not only does it boast a combination of high mobility and endurance, its hardened strikes are incredibly destructive. Annie kicks down the tower.
"It's also able to summon pure titans though its range is limited. The image flashes to Annie. "Leonhart is perfect.

Armin gasps as Annie is shown surprised.

'So this is all the information Marley has on the 9 titans? Then what do they know about my titan?' Eren wonders leaning forward slightly with anticipation.

It flash with documents of Reiner and the armour. "The armoured titan naturally specialises in defence, but if it charges at full speed it can break through gates and walls alike as Marley's shield needs to stand tall where the fighting is thickest" the man says. And we are shown the armoured titan walking with his arms shielding his face as shots are fired at him. The image flashes to reiner. "It suits Braun's tenacious spirit"

It then flashes to photos and documents of the jaw titan and Marcel.
"The jaw titan is an assault weapon. It is as speedy as it is small with powerful claws and teeth that can crush almost anything" We see cannons shooting at the jaw titan with him running around and escaping them, before crushing the Canons in its mouth and claws. "Marcel's sharp enough to keep up with it." It flashes to Marcel as he says this.

Porco gasps happily to see his brother even for a brief moment aside from the memories he has of him from inheriting his titan. Seeing him on screen felt like he was momentarily there.

It then flashes to pictures of the beast titan and hot Zeke that we have now lost. "The beast titan is more potent than ever, it's large and strong-" the man says and we see people running before rocks and other projectiles fall on them killing them instantly. "- But more importantly it can outperform an artillery unit with nothing but a fistful of rock." Zeke's titan comes up his eyes red, his back hunched over with some rocks in one of his hands. "What's more, its greatest power lies in its blood." It flashes to Zeke before more pics of documents come up.

'What we would have given to know that Zeke was of royal blood.' Magath thinks to himself.

It then abruptly changes to pieck and the cart titan.
"The cart titan's outstanding endurance makes it well suited for length missions on the field. The cart titan is shown coming out of the water decked in armour. Because it can hold its form for days on end we've enhanced it with specialised equipment." We see it open its mouth before it flashes to Pieck.
"Pieck's superior judgement will serve well here."

"Wow your government is really flawed,what assurance did you have that these kids wouldn't have killed you all when they inherited their titan powers, it is a commonly known fact that kids have minds that can easily be changed" Hange asks, directing the question at Magath.

Magath is a little reluctant before he speaks "I agree with most of what you just said, I kept asking myself the same question wondering if this was right" his voice goes a little dark before losing all emotion as he glances at Hange and Levi "But nothing to do now that was then, let's just get this over with."

It then flashes to images of bertold, his titan, and a vial of titan serum. "Finally there's the colossal titan." Ominous music keeps playing. We see a ship before seeing Bertold there is a cut on his finger and he is staring intensely at it. Lightning starts from it before growing and enveloping his whole body. An explosion cause everything to well explode with people dying, it look like an atomic bomb. We then see the collosal titan surrounded by heat. "It is a god of destruction." It then flashes to bertold. "We trust that Hoover can handle it.

Armin looks at Bertold with different emotions floating around in his eyes.

"I feel bad for those island devils those monster will appear from thin air and start killing them someday." We can now see marlian soldiers on top of a wagon.

"We've been training the members of this warrior units since they were practically infants and it's clear that they're stronger for it but why send these children to take the founding titan, frankly I think it's a bit insane." Commander Magath says the only one speaks right here. The man beside him looks into his binoculars.
"You think so?, I'm not so sure-," we see the colossal titan from his perspective, its mouth open wide letting out some steam.
"-we did just watch these children bring a nation to its knees."

'Hmmm ...that's it? I can imagine why there wouldn't be any info on the founding titan. So what about my titans power? Has it always been kept by someone who rebelled against Marley?'

T he scene starts with a small girl with blond hair walking in an alleyway . We can't identify her as she isn't shown clearly.
We see her come round the bend, her hair tied in two pigtails, she's wearing glasses, paired with a brown hat, a red dress, a trench coat and a brown bag slung across her shoulder. 

Reiner gasps, recognising her outfit. "What's up Reiner, you know her?" Pieck asks. "It's Annie, she disguised herself to go on a mission to find out more about the walls." 

The alleyway is bright but quiet and empty. Annie gasps as a hand falls on her shoulder. "Hello there miss you must be a girl of refined taste to take such an interest in this old geezer." Kenny says looking very young whiles grinning at her

Levi and Historia gasp. Levi wonders what the heck Annie is doing following Kenny.

"I was born at the Inn my mom worked at, she only met my father once, but she described him to me in detail  so that I'd know you when I saw you." She lies from her teeth, her voice never wavering. We see them from a bird's eye view.

"Well ain't that a touching story if you want to give your daddy a hug then put your hands up." From his expression we can concurre he doesn't believe her.
Annie looks apprehensive. "How can you be so sure that it isn't true?" 
"I  made my sister a promise so this tale of yours is a joke and a shit one at that" we can see him standing behind her with both hands on her shoulder, probably squeezing them. Kenny looks a tad bit angry.

"You're so mean-" Annie says and he lets go of her shoulders.
"-DADDY." She shouts before twisting and kicking at him but missing and hitting the wall, loads of rocks from the wall flys everywhere. Kenny looks surprised as she was aiming for his face. His hat flies off in slow motion before it moves to Annie and we see her expressions full of anger she's scowling at him. His hat and glasses fly off in slow mo too. He gasps almost falling before catching himself and his hat as Annie runs off. The screen zooms in closer to Kennyas he puts on his hat he says " well damn seems  you've hit your rebellious phase come back." He starts to chase after her. We see her running very quickly before the scene changes to some legs.

"Huh, what's this about?, why go so far into the past?" Louise speaks her thoughts aloud accidentally. (I totally didn't forget she was here guys (: )

The screen moves down his legs towards his body and we see that his legs are on the wall. "Huh, that's a new one. His legs are saying it'll snow today right?, yeah but his torso is saying clear skies." We can tell it's bertold their talking about sleeping without a care in the world. And it looks like Connie and Marco were the ones speaking.

"Call it hail and get moving, you'll be late for muster-" Reiner comes onto screen pushing Connie back. "Bertold wake up." He says but he looks comfortably asleep not showing a sign or waking.

Connie, Armin and Jean look at the scene, remembering the old days when things were easier.

We see some trees and then it pans down to Annie, Reiner and bert. "While you two slept like babies after playing with your friends-" Annie spits out the word friend like a deadly disease.
"-I was crawling around the capital sewers but I hit my limit, almost got caught." 

"Your limit Huh" Reiner says. 

"Let's cut our losses and take what we know back to Marley, at this point I bet they'll be happy to know anything." Annie tries to persuade Reiner.
"No, after five years they'll be expecting a lot more than a few scraps of information."
"Alright asshole do you have a plan?" Annie raises her head to look at him angry."

"You should have listened to Annie braun" Magath says obviously restraining himself from saying more.

"Yeah we breach wall rose, it's the best chance we have of smoking out the founding titan." Reiner looks at her with his head raised up high, while Bert looks like he ain't even here.
"It also means killing a lot of your friends."
"I keep telling you Annie the cadets, our friends they're devil's but it can't hurt to gain their trust so I wish you'd act a little less standoffish let them think you are-" Reiner starts before he's interrupted by Annie.

'So Annie was against getting close to any of us, but in the end we still became friends' Armin thinks now understanding why she would push them away.

"I'm gonna puke, could you please move your face away from mine." On her face disgust is shown. Reiner bows down his head, sighing before standing up. "You're exhausted. I'm sorry for laying so many burdens on you Annie, let's call it a night." He says and starts walking away.

Annie gets up and starts to leave when Bert speaks, "oh yeah I keep having this dream, where I see that guy from the mountains who hung himself. The screen changes and we see some legs dangling before it showns the whole scene with people crowding a man who committed suicide. "He must have been planning to do it so why did he tell us his story?" On the man's face an expression of pain and longing can be seen. The screen blacks out before counting.

"I wonder why this scene is taking longer than the others." Porco wonders outloud.

We soon see trainees practising odm gear. One falls down and another stops to help him. We then identify them as Eren and Reiner respectively. Eren is hunched over on the floor gasping for breath. "Eren don't kill yourself take a break." Reiner says while looking at him no emotion present on his face.

"Shit hey Reiner, how'd you get so strong?" Reiner is shown to be almost looking down on him.

"What do I need to do to be like you or Mikasa?" Eren says, still gasping for air.

Mikasa glances at Eren, before moving her hand to her neck to grab her scarf and pull it over her face when she realises it's not there anymore and sighs, turning her attention back to the show.

(Eren really trusted Reiner huh)

"I've got to change or I'll die without accomplishing a damn thing." Tears fall from his eyes as he speaks. When Reiner looks at Eren he sees himself and his eyes waver. The scene changes to a hand holding a bullet. 

"Huh, is this from the future? Why would someone need to be loading a gun" Falco asks oblivious as everyone else while Eren blinks away the tears that suddenly pool in his eyes.

"Just do what you have to-" Reiner says and we see the bullets being loaded into the gun.
"-Keep moving forward-'' he says and the gun is loaded and ready for use. Eren looks up and looks at him as he speaks, tears still in his eyes.

'Why does it keep highlighting the gun?' Magath and Yelena wonder.

"-that's all we can do" Reiner gives Eren his hand and raises him from the ground.
"Right, thanks for the advice."

The scene shifts to the person with the gun as they put it in their mouth. Hand on the trigger. It then changes to Eren as Reiner says, "you're gonna butcher all the Titans right?, I'm sure you can do it." They now stand face to Reiner before the scene is enveloped with white light and the light it dims.

We see a window and from the light it's still daytime. We finally get the full picture, it's Reiner with a bolt action rifle in his mouth.

Gasps all around the room. "Reiner?" Gabi says looking at him tears forming in her eyes. 

Everyone's attention is now to Reiner who just started violently from the feeling of the gun being in his mouth. He finally starts to calm down, getting used to the feeling.

Tears fall from Gabi, Falco and Pieck's faces,everyone else is too shocked before Connie speaks up. "Hey Reiner-" Connie calls him as he turns to look at him. Jean continues Connie's sentence. "-What gives you the right to try and commit suicide, we all literally just heard you say you were playing with our feelings, why are you suddenly trying to act guilty?" Jean gets up walking toward Reiner before being stopped by the barrier. "We lost Sasha and many others yet we keep moving forward. Who gave you permission to try and leave this shitty world?" Jean bangs his hand against the forcefield. His expression, hard and angry.

Reiner raises his head to look at them and we see his dead eyes. He looks tired and forgoes reply, just stares at them before eventually the show continues.

Everyone leaves him be seeing as some figured they might get answers if they kept watching and other figured he didn't want to talk.

He's about to pull the trigger when someone punches the wall and he stops. We see Falco on the other side of the wall, his hand and head leaning on it. "Damn it-" he says, his expression full of pain. 

"Thank god for you Falco"  Pieck and Gabi hug him happy that for now Reiner will keep living. 
"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it, Reiner?" Historia asks not wanting death for him.

"-if nothing changes then" Reiner, surprised from hearing Galco's voice, takes the gun from his mouth, the tip of the gun is  now covered in saliva as he coughs. We then see Falco walking away and Reiner looking at him through the window. "That's right I still have them" Reiner says ominously as Falco walks away still sad.

Reiner violently coughs like shown on screen but this time a little blood spills out and drips onto the floor. People gasp and then a box of tissues appears on the table beside Reiner. In a situation where he can't afford to be surprised, he gets some tissues to wipe the blood before putting them in the bin that appeared too. The panic that appeared in people slowly goes away as the show starts again.

Falco keeps walking slouched before stopping in the entrance of the hospital. "The hospital" he says and an injured man and nurse walk by. He turns to walk away when someone calls him so he looks back. "Hey, huh-?", we see Eren waving at him.

He's got the bandage over his eye and a crutch in his right hand as he waves with his left. A person on a wheel chair is pushed by and we notice that Falco is now sitting beside Eren.
He starts the convo. "So you're able to talk now huh, guess that means you're recovering"
"Eh, this place is for treating psychological words but mine are fake. Huh!" Falco gasps, turning to face him.

"Why pick Falco to tell this too? Did you want him to trust you or was there an even bigger ulterior motive behind it?" Porco asks the question everyone else is wondering.

Reiner and Falco avert their eyes to ground knowing if they looked at anyone questions would be directed towards them.

"I said that I forgot where I came from due to amnesia but I just don't want to go back, I'm not quite ready to face my family yet, will you report me?" Falco looks at Eren with a confused and pitiful look.

"This is all your fault Falco!" Gabi says knowing it's not true but wanting someone to point fingers at. Most people would have reported him, and without him people wouldn't have had to die…, her voice quiets down to almost a whisper but everyone can still hear her. "They wouldn't have died," Gabi says, letting the tears run down her face freely. Falco looks at her,shocked before hugging her.

"Wow, that took a turn for the worst, I'll take down the barriers, no fighting I'll give you guys a 20 minute break to process."

Most people dispersed with some eldians hanging around the edge of the room, leaving Falco and Gabi the only ones still in their seats still hugging as Falco whispers something to Gabi.

Eren pov.

I'm glad I'm out of that room it was suffocating, this is why I didn't want to stay here.  Leaving the room I head outside and then  decide to follow the sound of a river, as  I walk I  try to clear my mind and formulate a new plan as my old one is obviously going to go to hell. 

Getting to the river I sit down basking in the silence and peace, I'll probably never get again.

Ugh, my hands move to my hair clenching onto it. I was prepared to die, they might have kept hating me but that would have been alright as long as they survive. As long as they got their freedom.

I've already said the unspeakable to mikasa, I beat up Armin my longest going friend, we can't possibly ever go back to how we were, I know I hurt mikasa and that's something I can never take back no matter how hard I try, those words will always linger in her mind. If all this goes according to Talia and somehow I don't die and I'm finally free to be with Μikasa,she'll always have the silver of doubt with her. I can't put her through that pain and uncertainty.

I grab a stone from beside me, throwing it with all my might before hearing a splash. I open my eyes and see red. It's blood from a fish that I unknowingly killed when throwing the stone. I stare watching as the blood spreads and contaminates everything around it. Mesmerised I watch ignoring everything around me till eventually the running water takes the blood with it. And suddenly the idea hits me.

"That's it, all this doesn't matter, once I get into contact with the founder I'll erase their memories of this place, everything we're watching then won't mess with my plan they can still be free and I'll still die. I stand happy about my new revelation before walking back to the RR, "this will solve my problems" I recite that phrase the whole way back slowly believing it.

Getting there I notice more people congregating and slowly  everyone is seated with chatter around the room as we all wait for it to start again.
I glance at Falco to find him still in his seat but looking happier than before we left so I smile before going back to waiting. 'Contrary to what people think I actually enjoy Falco's presence, seeing him sad makes me mad he's a good kid.'

No one pov.

"Tomorrow I'll be bringing in a new person to react with, don't overthink it you'll run yourself to the ground, okay I can see that break proved very useful to a lot of you, so let's continue watching.

"No,I wouldn't do that" Falco replies looking downcast. Eren turns to look at him and says "you're all beat up, guess that's from your warrior training?" "Yeah but honestly it's pointless,  there is another candidate who is way better than me so there's no way that I'll be chosen" he replies looking all depressed.

"I'm glad to hear it, you're a good person. I hope you'll get to live a long life." Eren says looking at the sky now.

Falco looks at him confused on why he wants him to fail, total disbelief is evident on his face. Then his expression changes. "Thing is, I don't want this other candidate to be picked."
"Why not?" Eren is confused as Falco shys away. "Is this rival of yours a girl by chance?" He finally understands.

"Wow, Eren I didn't throw it was possible for you not to be oblivious, good job." Hange says trying to lower the tension

"She's famous around here, she did incredible things in the war, ask anyone they'll tell you that she should be the next armour. It doesn't matter what I want cause I can't do a damn thing about it." As Falco speaks he turns away from Eren avoiding eye contact. 

"Why do you guys trust each other so much?" Porco looks at them baffled. "Like most people would have been weary of each other but Eren just literally spilled everything on one of their first meetings." Falco and Eren look at each other before Shrugging, ending the conversation there.

They sit in silence for a few seconds before Eren talks again. "Everyday I've spent here I've wondered how did all these people let it come to this minds and bodies ruined- the camera moves to a man being pushed in a wheelchair- dreams of FREEDOM erased - a man with a bandage on his face and another sitting on the floor solemnly tapping away- personalities burned away, no one would want to go to war- a man repeatedly gently banges his head against a wall- if they knew what it would do to them, but it's not like we all left into that hell knowingly- the camera slowly pans down to what is left of his leg before moving a side view of his face- most of us were pushed, some of us were pushed by other people and some of us were pushed by the environment we grew up in." 

"Reminds me of the scouts back in the day after every expedition, I mean we looked better but…" Mikasa speaks for the first time since they started reacting.

We see Falco's horrified face as he then turns to look at Eren. "So the few who do choose to leap into hell see it diffErently than the rest and they're also able to see something beyond the hell, maybe that something is hope or maybe it's just another hell, fact is you can only find out by moving forward." The camera pans to his face void but angry. Before suddenly showing to be continued...

"Which of them are you, Eren? Did you willingly jump? Were you pushed?, you classify yourself in one of those categories right?" Levi asks him, a different tone underneath his voice.

Falco is running, a smile has blossomed on his face, Eren's voice is heard in the background as Falco remembers the conversation they had. "Falco could you do me a favour?" 

"Sure what do you need?" It flashes to the conversation they had as Falco was leaving. 

"I want to send a letter but coming from the internment zone it will probably be checked right?" He asks.

"Wait, is that why you befriended Falco?,so he could send you a letter?" Porco asks joining the majority of the room as they get confused.

"If they see what I wrote they'd know I should be here, would you be willing to send it from outside the interment zone?"

"Sure thing" Falco replies quickly with no hesitation present.

"I know what you're going to say but Mr. Eren is actually a really nice person to talk to and he listens to everything I have to say without judging me for it." Falco looks at the Eldians, daring them to challenge him.

"Plus with him I could actually be truthful and he was too well except for not telling me who he actually was. Mr. Eren actually told me a lot about his life." Everyone is left speechless

He walks towards Eren who is holding out the letter.

"Guess this is for your family?"

"Yeah just letting them know that I'm here and that I'm alright" Falco holds the letter before it shows him in front of the mailbox smiling whilst holding the letter looking at the mailbox before the screen goes blank.

'Falco's a good kid I would have rathered not using him but it was the only way'

We see the kids running, holding pistols with rugsucks on their backs. Gabi is in the lead followed by Falco, then Zofia and finally Udo in last place. Falco suddenly starts running faster and Reiner leans forward in anticipation. Falco runs past Gabi getting ahead of her. "He's winning! Falco just passed Gabi." Reiner and Colt look absolutely baffled from the balcony as everyone but Gabi cheers for Falco.

"Tsk, look at how they that one win bomb kids, ignorance really is bliss" Porco and Pieck have also now joined Reiner and Colt in watching the kids. 

"But it doesn't matter how well Falco does from this point does it? I mean Gabi is so far ahead of him." Colt says and we see Falco absolutely celebrating his win.

"Wow brother, thanks for the vote of confidence." Falco looks at Colt.

"What, you know he's right, Falco  don't try to deny it." Colt smiles at Falco relaxing in his chair.

"Did you see how he took off on that last stretch" Udo brags.

"Hey there kids, what's all the fuss about?" Random gatekeeper asks.

"Falco finally got the best of Gabi" Udo exclaims.

"Really you beat her grades?", "No he just out ran her in a race" Zofia answers.

"Sure but it's still a historic feat." Udo is shown clearly proud of Falco, smiles are  noticeable on everyone's face except Gabi's. Falco can be seen clearly blushing. 

"Hey can you cut it out, seriously it's embarrassing" Falco says, but he doesn't push Udo away

"Pretty impressive it sounds like maybe you're gonna be the next armour." The gatekeeper leans down as he speaks.

Gabi then comes on screen fuming. She hits Falco on the head. "There's no point in trying to beat me now, it's too little too late, in case you forgot I heroically defended our motherland in battle." Gabi shouts, obviously angry at Falco. Falco held his head where he was hit.

"Ah yeah I know but there's still a chance they haven't announced the successor quite yet and until they do I'll keep on working my hardest. Falco says walking ahead as they stand and stare at him with surprise on their faces.

"All right, said like a professional warrior."

"Your brother's  inheriting the beast so you and your family  will be made honorary Marlians no matter what you know that so why try so hard?" Gabi shouts from  her position angry but also confused.

Falco stops before turning his head, blushing. "I'm doing this for you!" He shouts, turning to look at her.

"Falco," Zofia says.

"He really just up and said it" the gatekeeper says.

It zooms in on Falco who is still blushing but has a hint of anticipation on his face.

Gasp, the Eldians and Eren look at him in surprise.

‘There’s no way she cant get it now, he literally spelled it out for her ‘ they think.

"Huh, you're trying to stop me from getting what I want but you think you're doing  it for me?That doesn't make any damn sense." Gabi shouts more confused than angry before Falco starts running. Everyone else facepalms while Gabi rages.

Que facepalms from the Eldians.

"Huh?!, what is that jerks problem?, hey tell me" She shouts, putting her hand on her hips as he runs away.

"Nicely done Falco" a voice says.

"It's thanks to what you said Mr. Kruger, honestly I doubt I'll catch up to Gabi no matter how hard I push myself but even so I'm gonna keep moving forward." Falco looks so happy and proud of himself. Eren still got that look in his eye.

“Did you go to him when you ran?” Pieck asks.

“Yeah I did, it was his encouragement that made me able to surpass Gabi anyway.”

"I see I would still say that I'm in your debt. Thank you for delivering  those letters for me. You've been a big help." Eren says and looks at him actually being genuine.

"Huh oh sure" Falco replies bashfully. The camera then pans over their knees and we notice the glove as does Falco.

"That glove did your family send it to you, they thought it would make hospital life less boring-" he puts one hand on the glove tenderly.

“How long have you been in contact with Zeke during the past four years? It seems like you only just arrived here and yet he knows where you are.” Historia asks Eren, hoping for an answer.

Eren opens his mouth but says nothing before trying again. “I guess it is one of those things that Talia won’t let me reveal as of now.”

"-it's hard to do much in this shape but I need to move forward too, after the festival Im going back to my hometown."

"Glad to hear it," Falco says as Eren looks at the sky. He then gasps. "The doctor is coming well I should head out. He runs away quickly and as the doctor approaches.

"Would you mind if I sit next to you?" Eren turns to look at the man replying "Sure why not"    

"Thanks, I appreciate it." He says.

Eren stares at the man before the man turns to look back at him and speaks.

"Grandfather?!, you did tell me you met our grandfather Eren" Zeke looks at Eren expectedly.

"I don't see why I have to report everything I do and who I meet to you Zeke." Eren says not bothering to look at him.

"But-" the TV cuts him off

"My name's Yeager, I'm an internment Zone physician. I like to come out here and drink tea from time to time." 

Eren's expression has visibly changed. "Good to meet you, I'm krueger. "

"Good to meet you too, I saw you speaking with a boy just now, is he a friend?" Eren turns his head away and replies "Guess so"

"Hmm, I wonder if he could have been my friend  after all I too sit here looking for someone to talk to before the eldian restorationists were caught that boys uncle was leading a leading member." Eren looks intrigued and looks at his grandfather.

"I don't get it, why do we need to watch this?" Magath asks out loud. But no one answers.

"Marley sends captured restorations straight to Paradise frequently with their families in tow in order to protect their loved ones, the boy and his brother said they wanted to become warriors and now his brother has been chosen to inherit the beast titan which means the grice  family is finally safe again." We see Falco walking slowly away as he speaks.

"I know it wasn't confidential knowledge,but how come Mr. Eren's grandfather knows about it in such detail?"

Zeke answers for Eren, "Our father was the leader of the restorationists, and father told me all about his "job" so when  I reported them, I told our grandparents everything, grandfather probably figured out the rest through rumours." He puts emphasis on the word job, his voice mixed with disdain.

"Hold on, why tell me all this?" Eren questions.

"So that you'll stop asking that young man to run errands  for you, the grice family efforts will have been for nothing if people begin to suspect him of something illicit and if your heart and mind truly are healthy you should go back to your family now. The people you love won't always be waiting. If you take them for granted you will be left with regret." As he says this Eren and him have an intense staring battle.

A nurse points at them from a window as a doctor looks at where she's pointing.

"Will I? I see, you have regrets about your own family." Grandpa gasps looking away. Eren's voice is now completely void of any emotion.

"I'm filled with them, even now I was so hard on my son so insistent that he become a doctor-" we see Eren looking at grandpa and then it flashes to dogs eating a person.

"That's-tha-, of course you inherited dad memories you saw through his eyes." Zeke says his voice shaking easily recognising his aunt from the pictures and many many descriptions.

"-that's why he took his sister outside the walls, that's why, she-she-" Eren looks like he can't even be bothered with the man, like he doesn't care. This then flashes to three silhouettes; Grisha, Faye and Kruger with Grisha and Faye both being kids

Then he starts to panic, his breathing becoming erratic. "It's my fault, it's all my fault." He screams towards the sky, his hands pulling on his face.

Eren's like what the heck are you doing old man?, no sympathy on his face as his grandpa screams and panics. 

Eren watches his expression the exact same as the one on the screen. As others start to stare appalled by the lack of sympathy and compassion shown on both Eren's faces.

"Mr yeager please don't go about unsupervised" Eren turns to look at the doctor and nurse. "Sorry about this, I only looked away for a moment. They start to bring him inside as he keeps shouting and Eren"s eyes follow them.

He then picks up the baseball and throws it up into the air. It makes a swoosh sound down and then the screen goes black.

"Well that wasn't ominous at all,'' Porco says, getting tired of watching the past.

Falco runs on screen in front of Reiner.

"Mr Braun" he starts panting but smiling. 

"Where the hell have you been?" Gabi questions him.

"Where did Falco go?" Gabi wonders outloud. 

"He seems too excited for him to have any bad intentions”  Pieck notices. "Then again when does Falco ever have bad intentions" 

He ignores her not even looking at her and continues his sentence standing straight and pointing left.

"Sir, do you mind coming with me?"

“This looks like what happened before Eren attacked Marley and Willy Tyber declared war, But where is Falco taking Reiner?

"Don't think there's time." he says with Zeke in the background, a cig in his mouth listening to the convo.

He brushes his statement off  "you'll be fine the curtains won't go up for a few more minutes."

“You seem rather cooperative, you must know what Falco needs him for, care to share?” Porco asks, not liking the suspense.

The scene changes to Falco running; he then stops and points ahead of him. "Over this way"

"What's this about Falco?" Reiner asks, intrigued.

"You can see for yourself in a second" Falco replies running ahead, jubilant.

Reiner sighs and follows him before he stops as they get to some stairs leading to the basement. Falco in front of the door beckons him."It's through this door". "Okay." Reiner replies following him.

The scene changes again and a lantern is shown with two legs behind it, one of them chopped off below the knee. 

"I got him to come!" Falco sounds absolutely proud of himself ( this breaks my heart guys, he's an absolute sweetheart.)

Reiner is walking down the stairs and the man starts talking "Evening, it's been four years-" Reiner gasps  recognising him, "-Reiner" he says and it zooms into his panicked eyes.

Eren is now shown on screen a tab bit hunched over, staring at him with one eye and his forehead bandaged a frown on his face.

"Eren!" He gasps bewildered.

The screen lights up showing Eren sitting on a chair leaning forward slightly, Reiner standing in front of his chair with a frown on his face, Falco in the middle of them leaning on the wall with a wavering smile on his face.

The screen then zooms in on Eren's face "Evening, it's been four years Reiner" he says and Reiner gasps his pupils dilated and shaking.

"Reiner,  you met with Eren Yeager before Willy Tyber's speech?, why didn't you inform anyone" Mcgath asks Reiner who has started shaking recalling this conversation.

He points at the screen giving no other answer.

"Hey uh, what's wrong Mr Kruger said you were old friends and that he wanted to surprise you-" Falco, shocked at Reiner's response, looks to him for answers before turning to Eren as Reiner just stares in shock.

"-it's true, right? You two were friends?" He adds hand motions to emphasise his question.

"Yeah and we have a whole lot to catch up on" Eren replies as the screen moves on to show Falco's bewildered and scared face. Starting to place some pieces together 

"I don't even know where to start" he finishes as Falco then looks at Reiner who is still panicking wondering what exactly the problem was.

"It can't be, Eren!" He starts off.

………….

The screen shows purple curtains before it cuts off and Eren's voice is heard again off screen. "Sit down Reiner."

It shows a birdseye view of the room, with Eren sitting on a chair towards the right of the room another chair opposite him is unoccupied with Reiner standing beside it. Falco is standing between them, close to the wall and table with their only light source. On the opposite side of the room tables, chairs and crates have been stacked.

"I found us good seats, you can hear everything that happens on stage, we're right beneath an apartment building-" and as he says this we see the building with people standing by the window looking outside.

"-it's behind the stage but still, it's full of excited families-" and a family is shown on screen, all of them looking out the window in anticipation.

"-waiting at their windows for the curtains to rise-" Reiner's face is shown horrified before it moves to Eren no emotion present on his face as he points upward. 

"-they're all directly above us."

Falco turns to look at him and notices his bleeding palm. "Say Mr Kruger, did you cut your hand?"

"Eren, did you threaten Reiner to stay with innocent families?" Armin asks, shocked remembering the attack on shiganshina.

"Yeah it's just a scratch" he says but we can see a deep gash the blood drips all the way down his wrist.

"Reiner sit" he tells him sternly, almost like he's ordering a dog.

Reiner, absolutely terrified, sits down, resigning to his fate.

"So uh, I think I should head back to the others now." He tells Reiner.

Everyone notices the tension and stays silent wondering how this would play out.

"No Falco you should stay here and listen to us" he says as Falco turns to look at him surprised.

Reiner without looking at him holding his hand out in a stop motion. "Just do as he says alright"

"Kay"

…..

They appear on screen still in the same positions before it zooms in on Falco who glances up towards where the music is coming from before changing to Reiner who can't even look at anyone. Then gives us a side profile of Eren, his hair covering most of his face.

Then it zooms in on Reiner's lips as he speaks "Why Eren? Why come here, what do you plan to do?" 

Falco looks like he's not even there as Eren replies "the exact same thing you did"

"No-i " Reiner clutches his head in his palms distressed.

"As for why that's the same too, I don't have a choice, that's why."

The scene changes to above, Willy is on stage bowing as the camera flashes non stop. We go back to the cellar, to see Eren look up towards the tiny window. "Sounds like the shows began, we should listen"

Willy appears on screen again "Let's pull back the view of time, ruffly a century ago, the Eldian empire ruled the world." It zooms out before moving to bandsmen banging drums, adding to the hostility.

"Humanity as we know it could go extinct three times over and the body count wouldn't match the number of lives the Titans have stolen, such is the legacy of the founder Ymir." As he talks the screen moves up, we see on the white background behind him titans eating people.

People are holding stick figures to a light which shows the Titans in the background.

The rest of his family watches him from the side.

Behind Willy, people appear, screaming and writhing covered in blood. "So much has been lost-" gabi, udo and Zofia appear on screen looking shocked before we move back to a close up of Willy's face. "-countless people and cultures wiped out, histories crushed underfoot with their pride." 

Eren appears on screen, no emotion present on his face as Willy keeps speaking in the background. "Eldians history is all we have left, and in only terms of killing, you see-" Reiner is now shown still in the same position as before with his hand clutching his head before moving back to Willy and his back curtain.

"Once the Eldians ran out of foes to concur they began to fight among themselves vying for power, thus began the Great titan war." Instead of Willy we see men fighting with swords, axes and other weapons, King fritz watching in the background. We then see Gabi, Udo and Zofia again, their expressions more schooled.

"We saw eight of the nine titans locked in an endless cycle of bloodshed but there was one brilliant marlian who saw in this chaos a path to victory." As he speaks a man is on stage with short blood hair mostly hidden behind a black hat which also hides most of his face. He wore a blue outfit with yellow shoulder tassels paired with white pants holding what could have been a spear.

"He was the heroic paragon we all know as hellos, thanks to his cunning manipulation Eldian in fighting grew far worse." Willy appears briefly before the six people all battling each other appeared, one of them held the other in a choke, the other plunged his spear into another and the other was taken down by two daggers being stabbed into his side by his opponent.

"Is this the history the Eldians and Marlians are taught about?"  Some scouts wonder never having been given the detail of why exactly they were devils.

"The empire grew weak, then Helios joined hand with the Tyber family and they forced the supposedly unbeatable King Fritz to retreat to a far flung island." On screen we see king fritz knees and gand on the ground, his eyes bound in cloth, in front of him was his crown. Helios puts his leg on the king, standing beside who we can assume to be the leader of the Tyber family. Their fists touch as they hold their weapons in their other hands.the people clap happy so far

"That said he fled with his powers intact and his reign continued." Willy is shown before king fritz is seen with his back towards us as he puts on his crown. 

"With him he took tens of millions of titans ready to trample the world at his command." We see the background zoom out, the colossal titans all behind the king. The people gasp at this revelation. 

"It's believed that our world continues to exist for one reason alone, chance." We move back to Willy as he talks before slowly panning over the kids looking as stoic as ever. "Our scholars can feel no better explanation, in order to fight this existential threat, my motherland Marley sent a team of four titan warriors to take the founder but they were soundly beaten and only the armour returned." It pans over the generals before showing us Reiner's mother and Annie's dad.

"It's clear now, the ancient engine of cruelty called the eldian empire is alive and well today." Willy states before we go back to Reiner and Eren this time viewing their side profiles from the otherside. "Honestly, it makes sense, I get why you plunged my home into hell, you were on a mission to save the world, so you and to." Eren says no sound of anger or any other emotion in his voice.

'Okay what's going  on here, why does vice chief Braun seem so afraid?' Falco thinks to himself standing in the same place he was in. "Mr. Kruger said they were old friends but-" the realisation hits him. "-old friends?!, just how many years has he known him?, if it's more than  four then they met in paradise." He looks at Eren 'wait that can't be right cause if it is, flashback to when Reiner came in saying "it can't be", oh no'

(Anyone want me to be adding these sheets to the episode now?, also this episode I wouldn't really say has so much dialogue probably why it took so long for it to come out.)

Chapter Text

"Most of you consider the history I just recounted to be common knowledge, but I stand here to inform you that it is somewhat divorced from the truth." Willy is shown once again with the camera zoomed out before it's zoomed in to clearly show what's happening on stage, beside him to his left and right stand helios and the tyber head respectively. "I know this because the Warhammer isn't the only inheritance the tyber family bestows."

Eren is shown looking towards where Willy speaks as does Reiner, hand lowered down his face as he listens attentively. " It passes down memories as well, truths which I will now share with you." The generals are shown again all looking grumpy.

"So hundred years in the past the Great titan War was ended but by helios nor my tyber forebears, the saviour who ended the fighting the hero who saved the world was king fritz himself.ç he says as the king appears on stage under a spotlight. The children  all look surprised as Willy continues. " He was plagued by guilt, over the eldians empire's vicious past, he grew weary of watching families and country men torn apart by war and he wept for Marley, a nation under constant pressure." Eren is shown again before king fritz and the former tyber are shown shaking hands. "So when  he inherited the founding titan he plotted his own downfall with the tybers, together we created a marlian hero who would drive the king out, his name hellos." Commander Mcgath is shown on screen his expression is one of contained surprise as he holds the binoculars in his hand.

"King fritz moved as many eldians to paradise as he could, erecting his great walls around them, he left a warning, that if any one threatened his peace countless titans would be unleashed in retaliation, however he never intended to make good on this threat. We move back to a zoomed in shot of Willy, Before a baby is shown with an old man holding the baby as Will speaks. "King Fritz made a vow renouncing war and bound his successors to the oaths just as he had, thus his ideology was passed down to each new king of the walls, and the Titans with the power to crush the world remained dominant." Willy and the King's backs are shown to us before the camera moves up from his midsection to his face.

"Marley didn't stop Eldia and chance hasn't kept the world from being crushed, it was the king of the walls, Karl Fritz, a man who yearned for peace." We see the surprised faces of the audience listening.

"That's it."

"That's all he wanted, he said that if Marley grew strong someday and came in force to shatter his peace and seize the founding titan, he would accept it." An image of the gates of the walls is shown the gate completely decimated, some stone slabs fall.

"He believes the sins his people committed  were so horrific, that they could never be atoned for. When the day of retribution finally comes I will accept it, but until then let me enjoy this walled paradise freed from strife-" An image of two men is shown, one sitting the other standing they look out over the water, everything around them peaceful.

"I ask for nothing but a brief span of peace; those were the final words he left us with." Willy says as king fritz bows. The camera shows the kids who gasp looking around. The whole audience starts asking questions confused about the new information presented to them.

"So basically it's the first King's fault that Marley  sends titans to paradise?, because if this wasn't kept a secret we wouldn't be seen as enemies of the world" hange sighs.

'What does this mean' 'if what he's saying is true'  'So Marley and the  family didn't really save the world?' The people start to talk.

"Well General you're thoughts? One of the officers asks the generals.

'Willy wouldn't lie'

"It's true, to secure our own safety my family joined hands with king fritz and  while our fellow eldians became devils. Put plainly we Tyber's are petty thieves growing fat on honour we did not earn, I stand before you, willingly parting with my false glory, because I have come to understand the world we share is in grave danger."

Willy appears on screen again turning to look at the people standing in the wings; the actors, Laura and a soldier. "Please stay and watch this is my atonement. The drums beat ominously.

"With the founders' might king Fritz erected three walls using a great host of colossal titans." Behind him colossal titan are shown with their arms linked together. "Counted together the walls surely contain tens of millions of colossal titans. They guard the King's peace  as his shield and his spear or they did but now that peace is being threatened, an uprising has taken place on paradise,  the king has been deposed the founding titan-"  we see the tiny window that allows Eren, Reiner and Falco to hear on screen, soldiers rush by it.

"Wait what's happening, why are you being surrounded and how did people even find out you were there?" Jean wonders

"-stolen the thief is an enemy to every man, woman and child outside of his island- "on the red background a horrifying image is seen tons larger than Willy with sharp claws grinning at the people below it, we then move back to the cellar and a leg is being regenerated at a very fast rate, Falco looks at the steaming leg horrified. Willy is heard in the background "an enemy of peace, his name is Eren Yeager." The drums get louder and the background music increases the image changes to that one the lamp on a wooden crate.

"You tricked me, after what you said I respected you, but you were just using me" Falco says his voice shaking.

"Yeah I was, I'm sorry, I did it cause I needed your help" we see Falco's face frightened and terrified, Eren still has the same 'I'm so tired' look on his face.

Falco suddenly gasps, speaking fast "the letters you had me send from outside the interment zone, who were they to?" Reiner looks at Falco surprised before the scene flashes back to Falco cheerfully putting the letters in the box.

It changes back and now Eren's leg is in full view as it finishes healing. "I can't say they reached my family but they reached my comrades." Tears appear in Falco's eyes as his back hits the wall behind him and he falls down panicked. "I-i didn't know"

Mikasa and the rest of the scouts look at Eren, an unexplainable emotion now present on  their faces.

"Wait, you wrote your comrades?"

"If the colossians of paradise are ordered to walk the rumbling will be felt across the earth and death will follow, until now only royalty has had the power to wield the founding titan and King fritz vow has kept his descendants from using it.

" Willy is again shown on stage the spotlight directly on him, before it zooms into his eyes.

"But this Eren Yeager has found a way to use the founder without having royal blood. Which means he can begin the rumbling at any moment. Once the walls of paradise begin to wall there will be nothing we can do except flee in vain, from the sound of earth shaking steps that will herald our doom."

The image changes from the feet of the colossal titans to audience members like the marlian generals, Annie's father and Reiner's mother, Zofia,Gabi, Udo and Colt. Interchanging between each group and the feet. This  keeps happening, image interchanging  between colossal titans and audience.

"These monsters will crush every city, trample every tree and flower, they will literally flatten our world." We go back to the cellar and Eren says "He's exactly right, I'm the bag guy Willy says I am, if nobody stops me there's a chance that I'll destroy your whole world".   Eren looks Reiner dead in the eye as he says this before averting his gaze to the ground and continuing.

"But to my eyes you looked like the bad guys too, and that day when you breached the wall and titans destroyed my home when I watched as my mom was eaten-" the image changes to show us reiner looking disheartened as he listens before flashbacking to that day ; Eren is show as he watches dina eat his mom who had her back painfully cracked lying limp in her hand as she goes for the bite, blood spraying everywhere before the scene changes to Falco's surprised face as he listens in horror.

"So that's what happened to aunt Carla" Armin mumbles under his breath.

"I couldn't understand why Reiner, tell me why my mom was eaten by a titan." The screen shows Eren’s back and Reiner who refuses to look at Eren before he finally answers.  "It's because we broke the wall, it was protecting her"

"Why did you break the wall?"

"So we could use the chaos to sneak in and to find out if the king would react"

"But what was your mission?"

"To save the world by taking the founder"

"Well that's that,  if all that was to save the world then you didn't have much choice" Eren looks at Reiner satisfied with the answer but he looks away, obviously hiding something. Falco is shown listening intensely to the conversation happening before him.

"I remember what you said you promised we'd pay for what we did and you promised pain, so are you here to make me pay?" Reiner looks at Eren this question haunting him.

"Yeah, I did say that didnt I?" Reiner looks unmistakably frightened.

"Let's forget about that" Eren dismissed the thought that has probably been haunting Reiner.

"At first I considered every person on this side of the sea an enemy but later I crossed the sea and slept under my enemy's roof, ate the food they offered me. Reiner I'm the same as you. Some of these people are awful-" a flashback is shown of when the man screamed making the disabled people fall "-but some are good-" falco is shown from then helping Eren before we come back to the present. Eren looks at Falco who in turn gasps in surprise.

"-same where I'm from, inside the walls we're all just people but you were taught that the people in the walls weren't like you, that we were demons." It shows Eren having been the one watching them as they walked on the docks. "You were just kids who got brainwashed, hatred was part of your training, as young as you were, how could you have fought that and well, it looks like you've already paid. Reiner grits his teeth  before getting up and bowing before Eren, his chair falling down, falco looks absolutely horrified and confused.

"NO, YOUR WRONG EREN, that day when the titan got Marcel, Annie and  wanted to end the mission right there and they would've. He's shaking as he talks, Eren looks down at him, no clear emotion noticeable.

"I convinced them to keep going not just to keep my own skin but- because I wanted to become a hero, I wanted to be respected."Eren looks at him with barely contained anger as he listens on.

"It's my fault-" he raises his head still kneeling to look Eren in the eye. "The-the truth is your mother was eaten by a titan because of me." Tears hang from the corners of his eyes threatening to fall.

Some of the scouts look at the screen with a new light, 'all this could have been prevented' some think. (Idk anymore guys 😭)

It then changes back to Willy who speaks. "I have always hated my blood and more than anyone wished my race would disappear" the audience is in confusion before we move back to reiner who has his head back on the ground as Eren and Falco watch "I can't take this anymore please, just kill me"

We move back to Willy who is now speaking from the heart tears hanging from his eyes. "However I confess that I want to live, that despite everything I believe this world is my birth right just as it is yours." The image shows the kids before showing Eren whose eyes widen at the last word said. We move back to Willy with music playing in the background. " The people gathered here may belong to different raves, different nations, but if we're to survive this crisis then for the first time in history we must join as one." The rich audience are shown crying as they listen before we see more soldiers congregating around the entrance to the cellar all holding  guns.

"So please if you wish to live then lend me your strength, help me protect our world's future." The cameras start flashing non stop as the cheers get louder. We move back to Eren who has a resigned look on his face as the audience cheer and cry, some shouting for joy.

"If we work together we can overcome any obstacle,  any threat" the soldiers start to move down the stairs.

Reiner is on the ground absolutely bawling his eyes out shaking as Eren gets up, "I was right I am the same as you" Reiner looks up to see Eren holding his bloody hand to him "I ask each of you to join me as I go and fight the devil's who would plunge our world into hell, help me defeat them." Willy screams still holding back tears, we see Reiner has taken eren's hand and Falco has moved to stand beside Reiner who is surprised at the turn of events.

"I think maybe we were born this way"

"Here and now as a representative of Marley's government I send this message to the devils of paradise." The people are still rejoicing and Cheering for Willy and we move back to the cellar.

More soldiers surround the cellar entrance.

"I'll just keep moving forward-" Reiner gasps

"Till I've killed my enemies" Eren looks at Reiner and his eye gets brighter, almost glowing as the hand holding Reiner's is surrounded by yellow lightning. Reiner and Falco gasp before Reiner turns around moving towards falco panicked. Eren has a steeled look on his face, his hair flies a bit, yellow lightning surrounds him as he finally transforms, breaking the structure of the building. "Consider this" Willy says off screen before he is shown.

"A deceleration of  WAR" he shouts as Eren fully emerge ruble all around his as he roars, Willy looking up is absolutely terrified along with the audience before it moves back to Eren's titans face and then to Eren's hand which smashes the stage picking Willy up and throwing him into the air, his mouth wide open, his hand covered in Willy's blood as the screen goes black.

"Now now, before arguments erupt once again concerning the Yeagerist I I would like you to remember Willy's last words.  "Consider this a decoration of war" she says poorly imitating his voice "he declared war or paradise why exactly was it wrong that Eren picked that moment to attack?

Okay no time for breaks were gonna just move to the next bit Resigned every shuts up and the show continues"
