Work Text:

Techno walked into his house, opening the door and taking off his cloak before shutting it quickly, as to not let the heat out of the house. He sighed and shook his head as he began to walk downstairs, to check on his villagers. He looked around and saw some of them sleeping, some of them talking and eating. The blade smiled and began to walk upstairs until he heard a crash… below him?

“Izumi, is that you?” He called out moving his hand to the hilt of his sword that was still strapped to his hip, using his left hand to pull his pig mask back down on his face, his long pink hair flowing freely down his back.

“Dad! Something is downstairs!” He heard a voice call back, the voice of his daughter.

“Izumi, stay upstairs!” He ordered as he unsheathed his netherite sword, it glowed with power as he narrowed his eyes behind his mask and scanned the downstairs rooms. He was just about to go check the first floor when he heard.

CRASH!  “SHIT!”

Techno heard the noise coming from… Under him again ? He carefully inspected each floorboard, finding one that just wasn’t balanced right. He slammed his boot into it and it fell into a room. He peered into it, his sword at the ready and was met with… Tommy?

“Eheh… I can assure you pal, this looks worse than it really is! This isn’t what it looks like!”
Tommy said, trying to find a way out of this terrible situation he found himself in.

“I think this is exactly what this looks like. Now Tommy, why are you in my house?”

“Techno, listen man, I think we should call this, Our house!”

“N..No? Leave my house, Tommy.”

“Techno, please! Dream is looking for me, he’s awful!”

“Tommy, I have too many things of value here, you cannot stay.”

“Like what?!”

Techno sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose before he sheathed his sword.
“You need to promise me on your life, your discs, your country, everything. Swear it to me that what you see here will not be spoken of to anybody.” The blade glared at the teenager, awaiting his response.

“I solemnly swear that I shall keep my mouth shut as I am graced with the secrets of the blade.” Tommy said, sarcastically.

Techno punched the wall next to the teenager, spooking him and causing him to fall on his ass and stare wide-eyed at Techno. "Swear it seriously, Tommy!" The man yelled.

"I swear on my discs and Tubbo!" Tommy half yelled.

"Good." Techno said, huffing. "Then come upstairs." The anarchist climbed out of the room and walked upstairs, hearing the echo of Tommy's footsteps behind him.

"Izumi?" He called out, waiting for a response.

"Izumi?" Tommy repeated quitely, his face morphed into one of confusion.

After a moment of no response Techno nodded and spoke again.

"Blood for the-"

"Blood god." He heard a voice say above him, he then saw leather boots painted black start climbing down the ladder leading to the top floor.

"What the fu-" Tommy began but was silenced with a glare from Techno.

After a moment, a fourteen year old girl landed in front of them, facing the ladder, her pink hair tied up into a long ponytail, trailing down her back. A black and red cloak over her plain white shirt, a netherite axe with the words ' The Axe Of Chaos ' scribed on the hilt strapped to her back. A sword named ' The blade of Athena' in its sheath tied to her left hip. The girl turned around and faced them both, a serious and questioning look present in her piercing periwinkle eyes. She huffed, her freckles on her cheeks and the bridge of her nose shifting with the movement.

"Who is this?" She asked, moving a gloved hand lazily in Tommy's direction.

The sixteen year old was currently shell-shocked.

"That is Tommy." Techno answered, smiling at his daughter, keeping his mask on.

"Huh.. and why is he staring at me like that?" She asked, confused on why Tommy seemed to be so confused and astounded.

Techno looked at Tommy and narrowed his eyes before clearing his throat.

Tommy looked at Techno with wide eyes.

"You have a fucking daughter?"

"Yes."

"Yep." Both pink haired people spoke at the same time, Izumi with a lopsided smile promising mischief and Techno with amusement clear in his red eyes.

"How the hell has nobody found out yet?" Tommy asked.

"Well, I'm not exactly a secret. There's one other person who knows." Izumi said, she yawned and leaned against the wall, facing them with her arms crossed.

"Who-" Tommy began before he was interrupted by the door opening.

"Hey, I'm home!" Philza said, closing the door behind him.

"Phil!" Izumi said as she rushed over to him and gave the elder man a hug.

The man laughed and wrapped his arms around the girl. "Hey, mate." He said as he nuzzled into her hair.

"We have a new person!" She said with a smile, looking up at Phil with stars in her eyes.

"Oh, who?" Phil questions, looking around as Techno waves him inside. Phil walks into the first floor of the house and blinks back his surprise. "Tommy?"

"Philza Minecraft?!" Tommy yelled out, much to the displeasure of everyone. "You live with Techno now?"

"Yeah. But I thought you were in exile Tommy."

"I am.. it's just.." Tommy started, wincing at the memories. "Dream… is not a good person."

Phil grimaced as he watched Tommy's face fall, Izumi stood awkwardly next to her father and cleared her throat.

"Well, if Tommy is staying here I can room with hi-" She began, only to be interrupted.

"Absolutely not." Techno said fiercely.

"Why the fuck not?" Tommy protested.

"I don't trust you around my daughter."

"What the fuck?!"

Techno sighed, "I think you misunderstood me. I cannot guarantee your safety while you are near my daughter." Techno said.

"What the hell, Dad?!"

"Izumi, you nearly killed Phil when he startled you."

"He shouldn't have gone in my room without knocking."

"You almost stabbed me when I took my crown off of you."

"I'm not good with surprises!"

Techno stared at her before shaking his head and taking off his mask, much to the shock of Tommy who quietly whispered " What the fuck.. "

"Well, Tommy, you're rooming with Phil. He's the least likely to kill you." Techno spoke as he turned around, going over to the fireplace and putting more wood from a pile next to it in.

"O…okay?" Tommy responded, shock evident in his voice as he looked at the elder man and saw him roll his eyes fondly.

"Come on, Tommy. I'll lead you to the room and see if I can build you a bed in time." Phil said.

"Yeah… sure." Tommy said, watching as Izumi yawned and moved the tiara that he somehow didn't notice back into place in the crown of her head. The tiara was beautiful, red and pink gems placed on a black painted silver. Tommy startled when Phil bumped into him, giving him a raised eyebrow and looking between him and Izumi.

"Hold it there, pal. That is.. Just- No!" Phil began to laugh as Tommy just proceeded to get more and more red as time went on.

Izumi looked at them strangely before shrugging and looking at her father who was gazing out the window, watching for something.

"Dad?" She asked as she walked over to him, even with heavy winter boots her steps were silent, her father trained her better than that.

"Yes?"

"What're you looking for?"

"..." The piglin human hybrid turned to her before looking at the two other people in the house. He sighed and shifted his gaze to her before he began to speak in piglin, something that immediately caught the attention of Phil and Tommy, however only one of them could understand.

" Phil and I found a strange.. Settlement of sorts. " The man spoke, looking his daughter in the eye.

" Settlement? Is… dangerous? " Despite her learning, Izumi was still not quite comfortable with the language.

" Not that we can tell, however… I feel an ancient powerful energy there. " Techno replies, looking at Phil who just shrugs before leading Tommy away.

"Am I banned?" Izumi asked, switching back to English. She knew quite a few languages because of the ancient man known as Philza. Sometimes she thinks he's a deity. He's taught her French, Spanish, Japanese, helped with Piglin, Russian and German. She learned English because of Techno mostly.

"Not really, just don't go there alone often. Understood?"

"Yep!"

"Good." The father smiled and moved his hand, ruffling her hair and causing her to sigh in annoyance before shooting him a glare that had no malice in it.

"Go to sleep, Izumi."

"Yeah yeah, night dad!" Izumi said as she climbed back up the ladder to her bedroom, Techno waved and watched as she went up. He then frowned and pulled a book out from his back pocket, watching as it glowed. The author read…

' DreamXD ' The deity of order.

"Come on! Swing faster!" Phil instructed as he parried her last strike of her wooden training sword, the blade making a loud Crack! when it connected.

Izumi took a breath and feigned a strike to the man's left before rolling behind him and spinning to gain momentum, surprising Phil with her speed for a moment. She seemed inhumanly fast. The girl growled as he struck.

Crack!

Damnit, wrong sound.

"Hm.." Phil hummed as he narrowed his eyes, he quickly feigned an overhead strike which Izumi, already low to the ground, rolled left to dodge, the man followed her movement ready to strike only to find him getting his feet swept from out underneath him, he widened his eyes as he fell backwards. He saw the wooden blade of Izumi's sword closing in on his chest and he began to focus.

Izumi couldn't believe what she was seeing, she finally managed to get him down and he seemed to just… Float???? It was extremely frustrating as the man threw his sword at hers hard causing it to fly out of her hand and land a few feet away. The man rolled backwards and landed on his feet, charging her with his gloved hands, feigning a right hook. The girl slapped the fist out of the way and ducked low to the ground, grabbing the man by the right arm and pulling him to her, bringing up her knee. Phil kicked his leg out, catching hers, and she fell to the ground.

Phil pins her down and puts a hand on the small of her back, he wins… again.

She taps the ground twice and sighs.

"Good job, Izumi! You actually surprised me a few times and even forced me to disarm myself. Well done." The man praises, it falling on deaf ears.

"I still didn't win.."

"If you win, that means I was going easy on you, Izumi."

"Yeah yeah.." She got up and dusted herself off as Phil went to collect the discarded swords on the ground. She sighed and jogged over to the house, picking up her tiara and putting it on carefully. She stood taller and inhaled. She smiled at the sunset.

“I gotta go, Snowball.” Phil said, smiling at her and walking into the house, watching as Techno rode his horse in the direction of their home, Tommy on the back, laughing and cheering all the way causing a small smile to grace the blade’s face. She looks to Phil as the man walks out carrying a bag full of supplies and waving to Techno as the man leaves, Techno waves back. As does Tommy. The boy’s braces filled mouth morphed into a massive smile.

Izumi takes in a deep breath, her father and Tommy watching her closely. She pinches the flaming powder from her gloved hand into the brewing stand, Techno close behind her, ready to help her if anything goes wrong.

She sticks her tongue out of her mouth in concentration as she drops the rest of the blaze powder into the bottle, closing it and then swirling it around, watching as it takes on a dark red colour. She smiles and looks at her father.

"Well done, Izumi."

"Nice job, Izumi!"

She giggles and places the potion of strength on the table. "Thanks guys."

She was proud of herself, her first potion was a success. She watched as it let off a soft blood red glow and rolled her eyes at Tommy’s obvious amazement.

Izumi smiled to herself as she played around with one of the many polar bears around the house. She hugged the beast's neck before kissing it's snout, it huffed in response and licked her before stomping away, the sound muffled by the snow. All of a sudden…

"Izumi! Box, now!" Her father yelled after her. She quickly sat up and looked in the direction of the portal, seeing four men making their way quickly to the house. She nodded and sprinted into the house, climbing the ladder into her room and diving in a box that's right by the window. She took a peek outside via a crack in the wall she scratched in and gasped.

"I have no choice…" she heard her father say, pain in his voice that quickly turned into determination. "I choose blood!" He splashed himself with multiple potions, the wind howling in the air and brushing snow across the plain flat land. The smoke from the potions mixing together hiding her father from view. The people with axes spread out after losing sight of their enemy.

Izumi cringed. Idiots.

Her father suddenly leapt from the smoke on the far left side, catching the tall one with black and white skin off guard, the wooden shield barely holding itself together under the extreme stress of a netherite axe and multiple strength potions.

"Guys, help!" The man screamed out as he poorly parried another blow from the monster that was her father, the pink haired man swapped to a sword and rolled out of the way of an axe swing. Her father rolled to his feet and kicked the person who swung at him in the chest, causing them to go down hard.

They barely blocked the next blow with the handle of their axe.

"Big Q, do something!" The boy screamed out.

"Tubbo!" Another one yelled out.

" Big, Q! " Tubbo yelled in desperation as he was quickly losing the battle of pushing. The blade of Techno's sword was nearly at his nose.

" Stop! Techno stop!" Big Q yelled out as he…

Izumi gasped.

The man grabbed the reins of Carl, and held an axe to his neck.

"You get away from that horse, Quackity!" Techno yelled out, getting off of Tubbo and pointing his sword at the newly named Quackity.

"Drop everything, or I am going to kill this horse right in front of you." The man said, a cold soulless tone in his voice.

Her father glanced at the house, carefully contemplating his choice before sighing and painfully dropping his cloak, sword, and axe. Izumi gasped. She watched as the men cheered.. All except the black and white one, the tall lanky man just looked… regretful.

They put her father in cuffs and began walking to the nether portal, leaving Izumi behind. She couldn't believe what had just happened…

She got out of the box quickly and out the doorway. She watched, heartbroken as the men carted her father farther and farther away from her.

Zzzpt!

…?

Izumi looked to where she heard the ender pearl noise and froze. There, in the cow pen, was a man dressed in a green coat with his hood up, a mask with a smile drawn on it, causing chills to go down Izumi's spine, on his face. A strap on their chest, holding a netherite axe on his back and multiple potions on his front.

Dream.

A man she was told to stay away from at all costs just made eye contact with her. She looked at him for a moment, he seemed to be in equal shock, the tension was extremely thick in the air. The adrenaline was pumping through Izumi's blood as she realized exactly how bad her situation was.

Crunch.

A step, just one, caused everything to change. Dream took that step.

Izumi bursted into motion, running back into the house and closing the door before locking it and then slamming three loaded chests in front of it, she heard the man begin to try and break it with his axe, she felt nothing but fear when she heard the man laugh.

" Oh, kid! " He sang in joy, " come on out to play! "

She grabbed a backpack, she began stuffing it to the brim, books, exp bottles, gold, diamonds, golden carrots, golden apples, steak, nether wart, eyes of ender, blaze powder, ender pearls and one singular enchant golden Apple. She checked her axe, sword, bow, and shield were in place and breathed a sigh of relief. That's all she had time to do before she heard the door give out. The man immediately began climbing the ladder. She panicked and broke the window in the room before throwing a pearl. She watched as the man looked at her again and lunged right before the pearl landed.

She ran, she could feel it, she was reaching the area her father told her the stronghold was, she suddenly felt the snow give underneath her and she nearly screamed as she fell, she tucked and rolled right as she hit the ground, causing a dull ache the was easily ignored as she looked up. She saw one of the eyes of ender float.

It hovered for a moment, staying in the air before it fell into place on the strange… table? It fit perfectly into one of the holes in it.

Odd.

She suddenly felt the ground shake. Well… That's not great. She was about to leave when she heard the creepy man laugh again.

" Found you, girl! "

"Fuck it." She put all the eyes into all the slots and suddenly the table trembled with power, a mesmerizing sight was all she was greeted with as she looked into the… portal? It seemed like it showed hundreds of galaxies, she could see forever.

But she forgot an important thing.

Push.

A scream.

A laugh.

A God.

The portal closing.

She fell.

More screaming.

"Kids, stay away, these are real villains! Thirteen, protect the students!" She heard a man say, she opened her eyes and gasped, she sat up quickly, much to her body's protests. She looked around and saw a man with weird little holes on his hands pointing his fingers at her. She was confused before her instincts screamed at her to move, and so she did. She rolled out of the way and

Heard cracks in the air and saw projectiles coming out of his fingers?!

What. The. Fuck.

She pulled out her sword and took her shield from her back as she sidestepped more projectiles and bashed the man in the face with her shield, knocking him down. She finished him with brutal efficiency, showing him no mercy like her father and Phil hammered into her. The sword cut through the man as the enchantments did their job, causing him to combust into flames as well.

"What the hell is an NPC doing here?!" She heard a nazily gritty voice say, she turned in the direction and almost threw up at the sight. Not at the man but at the creature next to it. It looked like a mutated larger zombie.

She grimaced and put her shield up as she backed away, suddenly she felt cloth around her leg before a sharp tug sent her flying. She tucked into a roll, using her shield as a cushion and glared at the man who threw her, his eyes were blood red until he blinked, a scarf that was no way in hell a normal scarf around his neck. He was wearing a black jumpsuit and had yellow goggles on his eyes.

She narrowed her eyes before finally taking in the scene around her.

They were in a giant glass dome, people had more than 2 arms, people were much larger than normal, people had fucking weird ass powers, she was in the middle of a battle.

Again, she would like to point out.

What. The. Fuck.

The man glared at her before turning his attention to the many people swarming him. She quickly backed away and began to run to the exit, where a bunch of kids her age were…

Why the fuck were they dressed like that?

She growled at them. "Move out of the way, let me leave, or I'll run you through my blade." She spoke violently, fury and confusion pure in her tone. Most of the kids looked at her in terror as one of their wounded who was dressed in a white padded suit…? Layed on the ground prone.

"Leave us alone!" One with long ass earlobes said, pointing them at her threateningly, in response, Izumi pointed her bloody sword at the children. Suddenly, she heard a-

CRASH!

The ground shook with power and she turned around, she saw the mutated zombie thing pinning the man to the ground, almost crushing his skull. She whistled before turning back.

"Alright, I want out, move!" She yelled, slashing her sword at them, far enough where it wouldn't hurt, but close enough to send fear into them. They still stood there with stupidity. Izumi sighed, annoyed at this turn of events, she was less likely to kill them and more likely to knock them out when the doors burst open, the wind of whatever the HELL just opened the door causing her to fall flat on her ass. She groaned and watched as a giant man spoke in a booming voice as she got punched in the stomach, she felt her consciousness slip from her grasp, and suddenly the world went black.
