‘niki have you seen Elijah? something is wrong I felt this pain..’ you asked entering the house, but before you could finish your sentence as you took a few steps you saw him. your beloved elijah laid ‘dead’ on the floor a dagger in his chest.
‘elijah!’ you screamed but before you could speed to him a pain pierced your chest, as Klaus behind you had daggered you too
‘why niki?’ you hissed, as the grey veins started appearing on your face, as your best friend and brother-in-law had betrayed you once more.
‘forgive me sister but we both know that as long as your dear elijah is daggered and you not, you will stop at nothing to fight for his return, and I can’t aloud that, because he is my greatest weakness and so are you. And I can’t aloud marcel to exploit it’
You went limp against klaus as the dagger took away your powers. differently than when he had daggered his brother he had the decency to lay you down on the floor, not making you collide with it, as your body became still.
Then klaus proceed in dragging Elijah and place him into your coffin.
After placing his brother he came back upstairs for you, picking you up and carrying you bridal style he laid you next to your husband in the coffin for two. The place that had hosted both of you many times in the centuries as Klaus knew you came in an unbreakable set, the other would stop at nothing to have back their spouse.
Klaus had even the decency to intertwine yours and Elijah fingers, as if you were holding his hand.
He gave a look at you both.
‘forgive me brother and dear y/n. There is not power in love. and you two showed me that unconditional love makes you weak. that family makes you weak. and I can’t be weak if I want to regain control on the city and kill my enemies’ he said before closing the coffin and leaving you two in the darkness of the basement of the mikaelson mansion.
