Summary
Once, before Tachyon’s attempt to eradicate their race, the Lombaxes were a united front in the face of the Polaris Galaxy.
Now they are divided. Lives dictated by the clan of their birth. With the leading clans controlling the fates of the smaller, less prominent outliers by hoarding power on the council.The only saving grace was Tachyon’s murder of the leading heirs. Creating vacancies for the smaller ones to fill.
Malea is one such heir apparent. Fighting against forty other candidates for seven available positions with the hopes of improving her clan’s lot in life.
Until two survivors from the old dimension are revealed to be more important than ever… reducing the seven positions to five.
