Work Text:
Tsukasa sat straight, typing away at his laptop not paying attention to the time that had been ticking. At some point Kohaku had passed by his room practically begging Tsukasa to just go to sleep but the red head refused sighting that the future of Knights was at stake. Kohaku eventually left exasperated and Tsukasa continued working diligently the artificial light pathing his way forward. But unbeknownst to the Tsukasa, Kohaku had requested Knights to help put the King’s mind to rest.
“SUOU!” Leo’s shouts were accompanied by the bedroom door slamming open, Tsukasa tried not to jump out of his chair instead turning around to face the ginger.
“What are you doing here?!” Tsukasa wanted to call him stupid in English but refrained.
“We got a call that our King refused to sleep.” Arashi smiled pinching Tsukasa’s cheeks lightly.
“You know you’ll get eyebags if you don’t sleep,” Izumi sounded annoyed as per usual.
“Come on Kasa-kun, we’ll take good care of you.” Ritsu wrapped his hands around Tsukasa’s shoulders pulling the little one into an embrace with the rest of Knights following.
Tsukasa sighed as he gave in hugging back with full force, tiredness sweeping over him. He fought to keep his eyes open and tried to shoo away the elders but to no avail; he was stuck.
“Come here our little king, you’ve been so brave.” Leo stretched out his hands grabbing the younger and leading him to his bed.
“But, I’m not slee-” Ah yawn cut of Tsukasa’s next words and he blushed a little as the Knights cooed him for being adorable.
“You sure about that, brat?” Izumi ruffled Tsukasa’s hair.
“Don’t treat me like a kid.” Tsukasa pouted.
“It’s alright to be childish sometimes, you might be our King but we’re still watching over you as your Knights; as your siblings.” Arashi held their King’s hand proudly smiling softly.
“So be a little selfish our Kasa deserves it,” Ritsu patted the younger.
Tsukasa wanted to throw a tantrum and tell them that there was work to do but at that moment he didn’t. He simply laid still soaking up all the warmth and smiles from his senpai’s feeling light-headed from all the admiration. He was their youngest sibling, their little King and Tsukasa felt himself smile as he closed his eyes. He managed to wish his Knights a goodnight before falling asleep and felt four kisses being pressed on his forehead as he dreamt of wielding his sword in the front lines once again.
