The first-year college students, namely Itadori Yuuji, Kugisaki Nobara, and Fushiguro Megumi, were accompanied by their teacher Gojo Satoru on their school trip.
Megumi and Nobara wouldn't pay much attention to it. It was just another ridiculous activity the school made for the new students. Sort of a welcome gift, if that makes it better. But no, it does not. What kind of lunatic would leave them in a corn maze?
Yes, a corn maze. Quite unorthodox if you think about it. It's not every day that you see students on a field trip, and after they've entered the place where the corn maze is, the bus leaves immediately.
It pisses them off honestly if it weren't for Yuuji being here. Not like they would tell him that.
"Oi, Yuuji. What are we gonna do now?" Nobara points at Yuujiz her index finger close to his nose, almost enough to boop his nose but she resist the urge to do so. She still has class.
Yuuji tilts his head at her, confused. He narrows his eyes as if thinking and gasps cutely. Making the index finger Nobara has out twitch. How is that even possible? What is cute if it's not Yuuji? She has to contemplate on that.
Megumi internally screams at how cute Yuuji is. On the surface, he has a blank face while also sighing at their antics.
"Isn't Gojo-sensei with us?" Yuuji asks and prompts to look around the area. He sees his teacher buying loads of candy and sweets at a stall. The only stall actually available but it is very convenient.
"Sensei!" Yuuji shouts and Satoru quickly pays for his food and grabs it. Immediately going to them.
"You-" Megumi has to physically constrain himself not to choke his teacher, the only person with money here enough for all of them to catch a ride home. "You, teacher." He sighs and his arms falls limply at his side.
"Indeed I am Megumi! Such bright students I have." Satoru says and digs into his bags of sweet. He quickly takes out one and eat it. "What is it, my dear Yuuji?"
Nobara rolls her eyes at that but waits for Yuuji to speak, her hands on her hips.
"Sensei, yes. What are we going to do now?" He asks as Satoru insists on feeding him, with Yuuji gracefully avoiding it.
"Eat this first before I tell you." He says and his mouth open with an audible ah coming out. Yuuji sighs and opens his mouth wide enough for the candy. Satoru brightens and quickly but carefully puts the candy in his mouth.
Megumi's eye twitches in annoyance (maybe also jealousy) at his teacher's action. He does know that he and Nobara are still here. He will not hesitate to smack his teacher in the head for this.
Nobara is quick to get her marbles and is very much ready to throw it to his teacher. (The school said that she is nor allowed to carry nails to school unless its on her course but no it is not.)
But they stop as Yuuji smiles after swallowing. "Oh, wow. This is really good, sensei!"
They can give their sensei that. Good job. They think. Nobara stuffs the marble to her pocket and Megumi's intent of murder is dissipating.
"So what now?" Megumi asks impatiently as Yuuji takes his time to enjoy the sweet. He abruptly swallows and looks at Satoru.
"Well, we go explore the corn maze." He says and pushes a three of them to the start of the maze.
"What? No." Nobara starts as she shifts her weight to the balls of her feet to stop the pushing. She looks back at her teacher who has a maniacal grin on his face. "Sensei." She warns him. Satoru pays no attention to her. "You try'na get us lost huh?" He keeps on pushing them to the entrance
"Nobara-chan, we should enjoy the maze while we're still here don't you think?" And Yuuji effortlessly stops Satoru from pushing all three of them and yes. Yuuji be on leg day everyday or what? Nobara thinks.
"Oh, yeah. We'll just go home after this. Might as well enjoy it while we have the chance right guys?" He looks at both Megumi and Nobara and they don't have the guts to say no to that smile.
"Might as well." Megumi says and Nobara flips her hair and the three of them walk together to the entrance now.
"Eh?! Don't leave your sensei behind." Satoru whines as he follows in suit.
Satoru leads them and points everywhere, leading to them now being lost. "Gojo-sensei..." Megumi starts.
Satoru straightens his posture and looks anxiously at Megumi. "Yes Megumi?" He fixes the collar as though he was lacking of air.
"How in the world did we end up getting lost?" He asks with his face blank making Yuuji jittery.
"In a corn maze!" Nobara adds.
Yuuji sighs as does not resist the temptation to add, "in a corn maze."
"Not you too Yuuji!" He pouts and looks at his surroundings. "We're not lost! I just wanted to go to this part of the maze. Duh."
Nobara snorts in amusement and irritation. "Why, of course, sensei." She smiles menacingly at him. "Would you like to go to this part as well?" She says as she points to the very obvious hole in front of them.
"Nobara-chan, of course not."
"Then please admit it already. We're lost." Megumi emphasizes the word lost.
"We are not lost until I say we're lost." Satoru finally says. He takes Yuuji's hand. "Come Yuuji." He quickly drags Yuuji.
"Eh? Sensei?" Yuuji looks more lost than they are lost. Satoru quickly pulls him and they instantly disappear.
Megumi cracks his knuckles and stretches his arms and legs while Nobara readies her slingshot and marbles.
"Sensei really is a bastard." Nobara says as she flips her hair.
Megumi nods as he says "When we see two paths, let's separate. Alright?"
"Don't have to tell me twice." She says and they run to find and catch up to Satoru and Yuuji.
They keep running, and when they see another path, Megumi says, "Split." And in an instant Nobara goes to her left and Megumi is all alone in this path.
"Sensei!!!" Yuuji shouts as he tries to stop Satoru from going anywhere. "Stop, stop, stop."
Satoru sighs and stops. He looks at Yuuji and squeezes his hand. "I'm sorry."
"You could've just said we were lost. Nothing wrong with admitting it sensei." Yuuji says and smiles softly at Satoru.
"I- no, we're not." He says pouting and buries his head in the crook of Yuuji's neck.
Yuuji laughs at him quietly and pats his back. "Then are we close to the exit Satoru~"
"I don't know." He grumbles.
"If I kiss Satoru in the lips would he know the way?" Yuuji jokes and Satoru instantly straightens.
"I think so, why don't you try it Yuuji?"
Yuuji sighs lovingly and kisses Satoru in the lips. "So?"
Satoru's face morphs into a thinking face and shakes his head at Yuuji. "I can recall it but my memory is still blurry. I think I need another kiss?"
"Yes, yes Satoru. You baby!" Yuuji cups his cheeks and stretches it. He kisses the corner of Satoru's lip and continues to his nose, temple, and forehead.
Satoru grins mischievously and before he can kiss Yuuji passionately, Megumi and Nobara appears before them.
"We heard Yuuji say kiss." Nobara says and narrows her eyes at Satoru. "You can't have Yuuji for yourself."
"Always." Megumi adds, they're not that possessive of thejr bestfriend, maybe.
"You found us by me saying kiss? You're so talented Kugisaki!" Yuuji compliments her. She rubs her nose and looks to the side while having a grin on her face.
Megumi snickers but quickly shuts up when Kugisaki shoots her a glare. He clears his throat and looks at Yuuji.
"C'mon Itadori. Kugisaki and I know the exit." And just like that Nobara and Megumi are on both sides of Yuuji, and clinging to him and dragging him away from Satoru.
Nobara glares at him before giving him a grin. "Fushiguro, carry Itadori and run." She whispers and just like that Yuuji is out of sight.
She runs as well and slows down and separates with them. Satoru follows her just like planned.
"You really fooled your teacher there." Satoru says as he catches up with his students.
All three laughs at him and Yuuji hops to his side. "At least now you found the exit sensei!"
Satoru smiles, annoyed when both Megumi and Nobara burst out laughing, laughing harder than before.
"Yeah sensei." Nobara wheeze and continues "I didn't believe you could do it, but here we are!" She laughs harder and pats his teacher's back with so much force that Satoru moves a little.
"Yeah." Megumi says and laughs again. "But we should really get out of here."
"Yeah, I'm the assigned to cook today right?" Yuuji asks Megumi and Nobara.
Satoru raises his hand and Yuuji looks at him confused. "Can I-"
"No." Both Megumi and Nobara answer. And Satoru visibly deflates.
