Work Text:

Everyone looks at him with a judging face. Even when Chanhee tried to pretend not to acknowledge it, he could not do that. Because his best friend, Changmin, gave him that gaze too.

Chanhee thinks he could pretend does not affect that. But in reality, he could not do that very well. Chanhee thought Changmin understood his choice. His best friend does not judge him as others do.

But he is wrong about that.

“Hei.” Chanhee nervously greets Changmin, but his best friend chooses to ignore him.

Refuse to look at Chanhee. Like Chanhee does not exist at all.

Their make-up is on the work. After this, they are rehearse walking at the catwalk. The designer who hired them is famous for an eccentric attitude. The models should expect to get injury times decision to change anything. Either make-up, hairstyle and even cloth they will use.

But Chanhee could not be concentrating when rehearsal and ended up falling. He could hear people laughing at him—even when they tried to hide it with a soft laugh—and Chanhee felt he wanted to cry.

The hurt itself was not the main problem, but the shame about Chanhee could do right for something he loved. He loves when walking on the catwalk. All of the attention will go to Chanhee when he walks. The feeling of being on top of the world for a moment when he walks.

"Stand up." Changmin voice made Chanhee look up at him, and he ended up sighing. Helping Chanhee stand up and make sure he does not hurt. "You can be dumb for love, but at least make it right for the one you choose since the beginning."

"Thank...."

But Changmin leaves Chanhee before he can complete his sentence.

Maybe Chanhee really needs to be slapped with the hard way. To understand what he chooses is unworth it to fight until the end. Nobody will accept his choice even though if this right intention.

People say love never be wrong but only arrive at the wrong time. But is that true?

Is this worth it?

Is Chanhee want to waste his hard work from a long time ago for this kind of love?

Is this will lead Chanhee to a happy ending? When Chanhee was on the verge to lose his best friend since day one in this industry.
