Eric does not remember when he was born or why he always wake up with a heavy heart at night. What he knows based on what he read at the library, Eric is a vampire. But Eric is still confused about why he does not need food. Or why he never be able to walk outside the house during the day.
Okay, he is living in the mansion. But that is not the main problem here.
Eric cannot walk outside when the day came and ended up falling asleep again.
Eric does not even remember what he dreams about when sleeping.
Eric even does not know how long the time is already passing.
This night is different. Because when Eric wakes up, he realizes someone is here. If he wants, Eric could walk like a human. But he is decided to snap his finger and arrive at one of the abandoned rooms. Eric sees someone, and he knows it is a human.
Or not.
Because Eric was confused with the strange atmosphere surrounding that man. His presence felt like a human, but at the same time, Eric can feel he is the same as him.
“Who are you?”
That man does not speak nor looks at Eric. Make him walk toward that man because he dislikes being ignored. But when finally they exchange the gaze, suddenly wave after wave of memory strikes Eric head.
Eric does not realize he steps back because his head hurt so much. He holds his head and groans because Eric cannot bear this pain. Too much flashing on Eric mind at once, and he does not know how to stop it.
"Eric...."
The whisper makes his body chill, but Eric does not even say anything as a response because he still cannot be processed what happened. Eric feels his body wrapped, and it is warm. He could hear a heartbeat, making Eric realize the man hugging him was a human.
"I'm not completely human, Eric."
That man voice make Eric suddenly see flashed memory about someone. See his face, his smile, feel his presence, and then make Eric gasp. Because now he remembers why he always wakes up with a heavy heart.
"Ju ... Juyeon...?"
"I finally found you again, Eric."
