Chapter Text

The loud echoes of the hall were almost deafening to the ears. Hisashi had collected many quirks since his climb to power, and some seem more like curses than blessings. His men stood guard in front of his vault, looking almost bored. Though that quickly changed when one of them caught his eye and the room seemed colder.

“All for one, sir!” The older of the two shouted as they straightened up. It made him almost want to laugh at how quickly they changed once they noticed him. Still, he will let it slide as he can imagine how boring it is standing around.

“Working hard?” Hisashi spoke with a taunt in his voice. Able to see a flash of fear in their eyes, but he was not so petty that he would dispose of them just because they are a bit tired. “You guys can take a break, I want to take a look at my treasures, and I enjoy a bit of privacy. I will find you when I'm finished with this.”

They didn't even hesitate with a mumbled thank you, sir. Leaving to do whatever they want on his behalf, and that is when he opens the vault. The loud clang and gears grind against each other as the door opens. Slowly revealing a room inside with just a bed and a table with food that has been untouched.

His little brother is cowering in the corner of the vault. He was almost like a feral animal the way he glares and bares his teeth. Hisashi tilts his head towards the young man with disappointment that he wasn't even trying to eat.

"Do you truly believe you're the hero in this situation?" All for One questioned as he stared down at his little brother. His little brother's stubbornness was as amusing as it was annoying. Wondering if he truly wishes to die that badly.

His food was untouched despite the fact it wasn't tainted or anything. Yet it was becoming clear that Yoichi was refusing to eat despite his body needing food.

While many would consider him a monster, a title he wears proudly, he did care about his little brother.

"The brave hero is refusing to bow down to his tyrannical older brother crimes and resist." He spoke almost mocking as his little brother once more said nothing. Green eyes stared back at him with something akin to anger. This complete starvation was out of spite, not goodness.

Still no response from him, at this point, his little brother seemed convinced that there was no reasoning with him. Or maybe he just wanted to hurt his older brother's feelings which he is doing quite effectively.

Maybe he is a monster to the world, but not toward his little brother. He wishes him to be healthy or at the least physically if he cant be mentally ok.

"Maybe if you ate, you be able to use that quirk I gifted you to become stronger," Hisashi speaks casually, and that finally gets a reaction from his little brother.

"I never asked for it." Yoichi spits out like a feral beast as the audible grind of his teeth could be heard.

"Ah, so he does speak, and here I was worried you had lost the strength to talk. I would have had to bring you a doctor," Hisashi speaks with a coy smile as if teasing the other.

"Stop talking as if any of this is normal. That I am some child to scold, you've trapped me here against my will, threw me into a vault, forced power onto me, and keep claiming that somehow you aren't that 'bad.' I've SEEN the atrocities you have committed, and you just don't care!" Yoichi shouted as if he was going mad, his hands moving to his hair as he scratched his skull.

The longer he stays in this vault, the more frustrated and erratic the boy seems to become. Well, he guesses he isn't a boy but a grown man that had his own life. It's just too bad that 'life' was to stand in opposition to him.

"That's because you are being a child," Hisashi spoke casually, watching as his little brother balked at those words. "Heroism? Justice? Where were any of those lofty ideals for those whose powers went out of control and they were gunned down? Where are they for those that just wanted to help and are treated like monsters?"

It was clear his little brother had a very naive look about the world, expecting some justice hero to save the day. It was almost adorable if it wasn't such an obsession and to Yoichi's detriment.

"A child? You're the one acting like a god damn super villain! You play up some big show of how evil you are, and you aren't! Please just stop this, all of this!" Yoichi shouted as he got up to his feet, pleading with him, and honestly, Hisashi does feel a hint guilty.

Not for his victims or for people getting hurt, but that his little brother was hurting over this. His little brother cared just a hint too much- And yet Hisashi knows it isn't out of genuine love. It is just something Yoichi has seen heroes do.

"Is it any different from you acting like a hero? If you had powers like this, I could already see you going out to enact 'justice' everywhere. Even to your own detriment," Hisashi notes, then smiles. "Who is to say you wouldn't be the bad guy if had my powers?"

There was a heavy silence as Yoichi slowly began to register his words as if the other had grown another head. "W-What?" His little brother's voice cracked as those green eyes were wide, almost owlish. As if unable to comprehend his words.

"How do you know you aren't a villain? After all, we all pretend to be the heroes on the good side. Maybe you are the one in the wrong unable to see my side and how much I have helped people," All for One spoke as opens his arms with a wide grin. "I bet you would kill someone seen as evil and claim it is justice. Even tho maybe they are desperate."

The strong stature of the younger male seemed to falter at this as if unable to deny. Pointing to the idea that Yoichi was capable of that kind of 'evil' but for good.

"Ah! There it is. You faltered just a bit because you were so convinced of this black and white view. So the idea of maybe someone doing evil but not wanting to shakes it a bit," Hisashi piped with enjoyment. Walking up to his brother, he grabs his hand and tugs him toward.

"It takes two to tango, and a villain is only a villain when people dub it. But that doesn't mean the other side is 'good' either because what makes a villain besides unfortunate circumstances," Hisashi chirps as he forces his little brother to step with him. "Would you kill me if had the chance? I bet you would just to prove something~."

He spoke as if it was just a matter of fact, watching his little brother's face morph into horror before being thrown down. Hisashi doesn't stop smiling even as it no longer reaches his eyes as his brother stumbles onto the floor. A slight hiss came from the younger boy, likely from pain.

"I-I am not going to kill you! I just want you to stop, don't-" Yoichi was panicked and almost scared. As if the idea of killing his own brother was unfathomable.

"It's ok, I don't fault you for it. I know you love me. You are just a bit confused," Hisashi muses with a smile on his face as he looks down at him, then his expression twist. To something more melancholy as he looks at the cold food.

"Though if you don't eat, I will force you to eat, and I'll leave you with those food for thought," Hisashi noted as begins to leave the other.

"Wait- Wait, big brother! You can't leave me all alone in this room! Hisashi! Hisashi!" Yoichi scrambles to get up, running after him as if about to beg him despite seeming to despise his company loneliness was worst. He hates him yet still wishes him to be around.

Hisashi finds it almost funny as he ignores his little brother's cries. The vault door shut behind him, unable to hear the likely screams of his little brother all alone in the vault. Just a bit longer and he is sure his little brother might break.

Then they can be a family again.

Notes:

Unironically I was inspired by the son Villain by Stella Jang which you can see in All for One speech. So you can assume that he very much listened to that kind of stuff.
