“MC! You’re going to get a cold in the rain!” Luke protested and stood on his tippy toes to make sure the umbrella properly covered them. “Here, share mine with me since some demons can’t think to bring one!”
“I also didn’t think to bring one,” MC muttered. “Thank you, Luke. Do you want me to hold it for you?”
“No! I can do it!” Luke spoke with some strain as he struggled to keep it high enough.
“Oi! Fido! Move over will ya? We can all cram in underneath it!” Mammon shouted as he tried to crouch down to be sheltered from the onslaught of a light drizzle.
“No! Back off you demon!” Luke hissed and tried to push his adoptive brother out into the horror of the barely-there raindrops.
“You don’t want me gettin’ a cold do ya?! Why are ya so concerned about MC but not me, huh?!” He got maybe two raindrops on his shirt.
“Humans can get colds more easily than demons! Besides, you’re a demon!” The rain had stopped.
MC sighed and looked up at the sky before walking ahead of the bickering two. No flicks of water landed on their skin, but the two acted like it was a hurricane outside of the umbrella.
“Just let me under!”
“No! Never!”
