Lonesome Dove is the latest film in the wildly popular GBWWMU (that's Garth Brooks Weird West Media Universe, if you've been living under a rock).

Set to premiere early next year, Lonesome Dove tells the story of a boy who grows up to become a Texas Ranger and confront the bandits who murdered his father. This installment is also expected to further expand on the GBWWMU's overarching mystery, including potential clues as to the fate of The Dreamer from last year's The River and the true identity of Cowboy Bill.

But if these first look images are any indication, this film is likely to create as many questions as it answers. Who is the mysterious woman (if she is, indeed, a woman...) lurking in the shadowy saloon in Lonesome Dove? Why does she have four eyes? Why can't I stop looking at her...?

Newcomer Cat Kittington (left) plays the Texas Ranger in the latest GBWWMU installment, Lonesome Dove. Beloved character actress Needel Felton (right) plays the Mysterious Woman, a previously-unknown character set to kick the GBWWMU's weirdness levels up to 11. Is she behind the dark forces that led the Vaquero to his doom in Rodeo?

The Mysterious Woman (Needel Felton) looks on as the Texas Ranger (Cat Kittington) prepares to duel an adversary just off-screen... the bandits who killed his father, perhaps? Or another enemy? (Fans of the GBWWMU are no strangers to surprises after the shocking twist ending to Two of a Kind 3 years ago, when Lady Luck turned out to be - spoiler alert - a hallucination!)
