mingi doesn't quite recall when he first fell in love with yunho. it could've been the first day he saw him, when he entered his classroom with the prettiest smile mingi had ever seen. it could've been when yunho asked to sit with him at lunch, and then for the next three years until their high school graduation he always did. it also could've been the day when yunho showed up unannounced and surprised mingi with flowers and tickets to his favourite band on this birthday. it could've also been when they both stayed up all night and saw the sunrise together, sitting on the roof of mingi's home. or it also could've been when yunho asked mingi to meet him at the skate park, and gave him his first kiss.
mingi might not know when did yunho steal his heart and kept it with him in a lock and key, for his to remain forever, but what mingi does know is that everyday, his love for yunho has only grown, and blossomed into possibly the best thing that has happened to him.
mingi also knows that at the moment, yunho looks absolutely stunning as he bends down on one knee, with his white shirt with two undone buttons at his chest, the sun bouncing off his skin, the gentle breeze playing with his hair, the tip of his ears slightly red. he's smiling nervously up at him, the mischievous glint never leaving his eyes. he's clutching the ring box tightly, and the beautiful sliver ring band is shining so brightly at him. yunho is still smiling at him, now rather with a look of love, and mingi knows. mingi knows how much he loves yunho, how much he wants to spend the rest of his life with him, how much he wants to wake up next to yunho and kiss him and call him his. mingi knows he wants to say yes, and so he does.
so yes, mingi might not know when exactly did he fall in love with yunho, but mingi knows that the sliver band is cold around his finger, and yunho's chest against him as he embraces him feels warm. mingi knows that right now, as they hold each other, the daises in the field are dancing along with the wind, the sun is glowing orange, the sky is painted with enchanting colors of pink and purple. and mingi knows that this moment is going to be his favourite till the day he dies, and he knows he's going to love yunho for the rest of his life.
