Kate is excited to finally get a tour of the newly built campus near NYC. Clint is excited as he introduces Kate to all the basic facilities she will need to know about and even introduce her to some of his hero buds.
Kate is staring in astonishment at the mural of all the avengers outside and she asks Clint “where are your quarters Clint are they here too, if so can me and you do movie nights like the ones you did with Natasha”
Clint laughs “I don’t think Titanic would be up your street kid that was one of Nats favourite films”. Kate smiles but brings up the question “so where are you staying?”
“I’m staying with my family back home but there is something I wanna show you that I made just for you, I managed to steal the blueprints Nat had”
Clint steps up on a piece of furniture and opens the vents then climbs inside. Kate is beyond confused at this point but Clint lifts out his hand and helps her in. Kate then follows Clint in the small passage ways and asks him “Clint why are we in the vents?”
Clint laughs “as an avenger and importantly as a Hawkeye you need the best views as possible especially when it comes to the kitchen as Thor stole all the best food” Kate carried on crawling through until they stopped. Clint then opened the vent door to a secret room right in the middle of the base.
Clint jumped out and helped get Kate out, as she entered the room it was surrounded with bright lights, dvds, beanbags, pillows and even a tv. Kate was blown away “NO WAY CLINT IS THIS YOUR MANCAVE THIS IS AWESOME”
“It’s not a man cave Kate the correct term is birds nest” he lectured to her. Kate went to sit on one of the many big beanbags and sank into them. “How did you get this?” She asked.
“Nat kept the blueprints as she made two for me I think the one in the old Avengers tower might still be there as we hid it well and the second nest was destroyed back in 2023 during that thanks fight”
Kate then went to grab one of the remotes “wanna watch Netflix?”
