Summary
On the way to Bespin with no way to contact the Alliance, Leia worries and Han does his utmost to distract her. Somehow, a lot of the distractions end with them staying the night together.
‘If it’s distractions you’re looking for—’ he began, and then his lips curved upward as he caught the look she gave him. ‘I was gonna say I got books on my datapad if you want ’em. More fun than some old report.’
‘Maybe.’ She worried for a moment at her lip, before telling him the truth. ‘I just get… anxious about falling asleep. I have for years.’
He took that in. ‘Right,’ he said. He drummed his fingers against the tabletop. ‘Right. Of course you do. I’m sorry, sweetheart; that was stupid of me. I should’ve realized.’
