“What are you thinking about?” Craig asked him now; in their relatively new home; their new Monaco Pkwy. Their future. Their lives entwined together, and not just for the next year, but the next fifteen, or longer. Kyle asked him to marry him, but Craig asked to buy a house with him; wanted to build a home with him; rejected anything less than three bedrooms, thinking of their future children.
The housing market was a disaster. He still owed student loans, but he also owned a home now. With the person that would soon be his husband, and that felt good. That felt like an accomplishment.
