Chapter 1: Who is Foxy?

Chapter Text

The pizzaplex use to have a pirate and bassist who was a bowler. They were two of the biggest hits there. But then one day they vanished and no one knew why or how come. While there attractions stayed up and running no one could find them. Freddy went quite and often went to the bowling alley missing Bonnie. Montys anger and rage only got worse and soon he was alone. It took one night for them to go back to normal one fateful night. But then a question was asked and soon the whole place was turned upside down.

The question was asked in Monty's green room. Steph was bored and curious, she was on break from the daycare. She had found something when helping Sun clean up. It was an old plush. The plush was of a red fox wearing an eye patch on it's right eye and a yellow star going it's left eye with a red star in the middle of it's chest. Sun told her that was Foxy. Foxy used to work at the pizzaplex and even those he was gone his attraction was still very popular. She had pressed for more information but Sun was mum and told her to ask Monty.

Monty was playing the arcade game in his room. And by the sounds of it he was losing.

“Hey Monty, whose Foxy?” She asks, pulling the plush out of her jacket pocket. The gator paused in his game and gave her a look. It was a cross between rage and sorrow as his shoulder tested and his tail started to slam on the floor.

Where did you get that?” He growled as he stormed over.

“I found it while helping Sun. Monty, who was he?” She asks, watching his mood shift. The rage was gone, but the sorrow stayed. It was a mixture of longing and loneliness. Monty let out a sad sigh, as he sat down next to her.

He was someone special to me. Back in the day Foxy ruled the third floor with Bonnie. He made everyone feel special and welcome, and his shows. You didn't just go to watch the show, you become part of them. Me included, we had this show where I would play the villain and kidnap someone in the audience and Foxy would save them. That's how we met, back before they built gator golf.” He explains cressing the head of the plush, with a soft and fond smile on his face. He looked lost in the past.

“Back then I was a nobody. But Foxy saw me and we bonded and grew close. We spent all of our free time together or we would hang out with the rest of the gang. One day the staff told us that the gator golf was being opened and I was going to the face of it. Foxy was happy for me.

We never stopped hanging out, the two of us. One day he kissed me. And quickly back pelted saying he overstepped and it was okay if I didn't feel like that. I just kissed him back. From that day forward we were a pair. But, then one day he vanished. No one told us why he and Bonnie were gone. They were just gone, I miss them every day. Foxy was my everything, he was the other half my heart, soul and made me a better person. Without him I feel lost. I got lost in my anger and rage, and nearly lost myself.”

“I'm sorry Monty. I didn't mean to open old wounds.”

No, harm bon ami. Talking helps or that's what Sun tells me. Keeping my feelings bottled up isn't good. For so long all I felt was anger and rage over him being gone. I couldn't think beyond those two emotions for so long. I feel like I can talk about him now.”

Steph gave him a smile as she leaned back against the couch. “In that case can you tell me about him?”

He was a charmer, a flirt, he could tell you a story that was so good you wouldn't believe it was a lie. He went out of his way to make everyone feel happy and part of his crew. He is kind, honest, a good person and loyal. One time Karen came up to him after the show, she was beyond pissed.”

“Why was so mad?”

So after each show, the child that was part of the show would pick a prize out of Foxy’s treasure chest. It was a rare prize, one per kid. Karen got pissed that her kid didn’t get picked and demanded that he get picked for the next show. Foxy told her off, and that made her madder. Foxy walked off, he would have gotten into trouble if not for the staff. Foxy told me he was inches away from hitting her.”

“You sound in love.” She says with a grin.

I was, still am. After a hard day of performing I would go up to his green room and just relax. He never asked or questioned why I was there. He would sit down with me and sing. He had the best singing voice out of anyone here.”

“Even better than Freddy?”

Maybe.” He says with a fond smile, “Foxy was also the softest out of everyone.”

“What do you mean?”

Foxy had fur, it was soft and kids loved it. Hell I loved it.”

“I’m sorry.”

Hmm? Why are you sorry?”

“For asking you. I can tell this is hurting you.”

It’s all good bon ami. I feel better talking about him. I never realized how much I missed him.”

“How long has he been missing?”

Two years now. Two years since he went missing. I fucking hate how the staff just tried to earse them.”

“What do you mean?”

There’s no trace of Foxy left. It’s like they wanted to bury and forget him. It was the same with Bonnie. There was very little left of them. And I hate that.”

Steph let out a hmm, “That does seem odd, even for this place.”

Yea. Fuck I think I’m going to go play some golf. Thanks.”

“You're welcome, you overgrown gecko.”

Monty smirked and gave her hair a ruffle before leaving. He left the Foxy plushie on the table, right next to the Monty one. With a sigh she got off the couch, and headed back to the daycare.

“Hey Sun?” She calls heading back into daycare.

“Yes, little sun?”

“Can I borrow Moon?”

Why?”

“I need to head to the warehouse, and I need his help.”

Why, why, why do you need to go down there?”

“I want to see if I can find something to help cheer up Monty.”

End of line
