That was what everyone had thought in the winter of 2014, the winter Bruno disappeared, but Bruno had never been found. An empty casket had been buried in spring, a stone set up in summer with a date on it that had never been confirmed. Life had gone on – or what had been left of it had.
Three and a half years later, Pietro returns from one of his journeys to the Himalayas.
