Chapter Text

“Oh, Thrawnie!” A shrill voice called. Arihnda Pryce entered the room, long bangs swinging above thick eyelashes that she batted flirtatiously at the blue movie star. “I was beginning to think you were hiding from me!”

Thrawn didn’t even want to look at that british bitch. He had had enough of her. To be honest, he couldn’t stop thinking about his new co-star. She was so hot. And…green. He’d had enough of mainstream human skintones. After all, he was blue, for crying out loud! There was no reason for him to date someone normal like Arihnda.

“Oh. Hello…” In his hand was a script. He’d been staring at one page for hours on end, memorizing the lines. Though, he already had them memorized, technically. He was more so replaying memories in his head from earlier in the day when he had been rehearsing with Hera. Hera, his co-star. Make that: Hera, his gorgeous, green, great, graceful, gallant, glamorous co-star.

She was everything.

Her green orbs, her green skin, the way she memorized all of her lines in a timely fashion. They were currently starring as supporting characters in a new film adaption of Kallus in the Bathroom, directed by Kallus and produced by his husband, Zeb. It was Kallus’ biopic about their love story and his rise to being the leader of the genocide fandom.

Thrawn blinked nine times.

“Hello?” Arihnda called out, waving a manicured hand in front of him. “Are you listening to me?”

“Huh? Oh…yes,” Thrawn was not very convincing.

“I need to get gas for my car. Let’s go.”

They got into Arihnda’s spidder and went to the nearest gas station. The gas station attendant was a young man named Slavin. She passed him his credit card. “Fill it up, please.”

“Sorry, sir, we’re actually closing for the day. A movie is coming to film here.”

“But sir—” Arihnda began to say. “The fuel…my car…”

Slavin shrugged. “There’s nothing I can do about it.” Then he leaned in and got a closer look at Thrawn. “Wait, aren’t you in the movie they’re filming?”

Thrawn blushed a dark blue. “Yes, though I’m not in the scenes they’re doing today.” He froze in his place. But Hera would be.

As if right on cue, a bunch of cars pulled up. Hera was one of the first ones to get out of the movie spidders. She walked up to Thrawn with a big smile on her face. “Hey! I didn’t know you’d be here.”

Thrawn looked down as Hera’s smile widened, and his face grew warm. “Neither did I.”

Arihnda took a step forward, “I’m Arihnda, Thrawnie’s girlfriend.”

Hera’s face fell. Thrawn pretended he hadn’t noticed, but it broke his heart. There had been something between them. He knew from the moment they had rehearsed that kiss scene at the party in Kallus in the Bathroom.

Together, they made teal. Of course they had such great chemistry.

“Oh...nice to meet you, Arihnda.” Hera folded her arms around herself, “I have to go to hair and makeup to get ready, so I’ll see you guys around. Um, bye.”

Thrawn knew that was not a real excuse because Hera didn’t even have hair.

But, his girlfriend cut off his train of thought: “Did you see the way that green bitch looked at you?!” she hissed, under her breath. “What a slut!”
