It was quiet within my quarters.

I stand in front of my broken vanity mirror, one I shattered myself after that…monster appeared in my reflection.
I hummed quietly to myself, a song my mother once hummed to me when I was a baby, as I brushed my hair as I prepared for the Guests’ arrival, enjoying the peace and quiet that surrounds me.
Until the sound of something shattering disturbs it.
