   Summary

   The heavy front door swings open and Carlos is struck. His breath leaves him in a rush and he freezes right there on the stupid Han Solo welcome mat. He knew he was coming to see TK today, knew that Captain Strand had made himself scarce to give them some privacy to talk, however long they needed to. Knew that this would be his first time seeing TK up and walking around like something close to normal again after spending weeks thinking he’d have to begin the grieving process for more than just their relationship.

   But to see the love of his life, in the flesh, standing there with a soft smile on his face and looking so, so alive…Carlos hadn’t known it was going to affect him this much.
