    The chain of events that lead to Hiro being a dungeon monitor were too long to recount, but doing this favor for Miu would help wipe away some of his debt with…someone. He couldn’t remember who at this point. But he did remember who had told him about the opportunity.

    “Miu needs a DM for a party this weekend,” Chiaki had said.

    “Like Dungeons and Dragons? That sounds awesome!”

    This was definitely a dungeon, but there was no promise of dragons. And there would be plenty of games, and players, and maybe even other words that could have a funny double entendre if Hiro had ever actually played a tabletop game and could make such a joke. How Chiaki found out about this, he’d probably never know. Maybe it was better if he never found out.
