Natsuki is standing on the train waiting for her station to arrive. She turns her head to get a good view of her surroundings. That’s when she spots a couple huddling closer together trying not to get lost in the sea of bodies. Natsuki frowns at the sight and puts her headphones in. While trying to find a playlist to listen to, her friend send a text asking Natsuki if she could help her and her girlfriend out with something. She shoots a reply to her. It must be nice to have a girlfriend she thinks.
Natsuki has never been one to worry about romance. Why would she thou? The thought rarely crossed her mind anymore, and no one would look at her in that way anyways. Why would anyone be interested in her, Natsuki was a Beta after all. Who would want to be with her anyway? She wasn’t strong enough to protect an Omega and she was too rambunctious to be with an Alpha. She already learned her lesson that she wasn’t good enough to love a long time ago.
So, why worry about it. Before she continues her thoughts about love, she hears the announcement for her station go off. She exits the train to continue her journey to school. While walking she fails to notice a girl sneaking up behind her. The girl pounces on Natsuki when screaming out her name.“Jesus! Sayori, can’t you greet in a way that doesn’t involve me falling on my face?” Sayori laughs at her and replies “you signed up for this when you became my friend.” Natsuki let a small chuckle as the two continue their walk to school.
When the pair arrived at the front gates of the school, a group of students surrounding a tall girl with dark purple hair blocked their way. The two try to go around the crowd since the students are too busy vying for the attention of the tall beauty. This however does not pan out well for the two because in each direction they go the crowd sways the same way. Natsuki shouts at the crowd to move out of the way while Sayori looks at her in panic. This makes the students look over in her and Sayori's way giving the tall beauty a chance to slip away. Before the crowd could say anything the first bell rings.
This causes everyone to disburse and go inside.“OMG Natsuki why did you do that... that could have ended poorly” Sayori exclaims while putting her shoes up. “They moved didn’t they and besides the poor girl looked so overwhelmed” Natsuki closes her looker “I kill two birds with one stone.” She adjusts the books in her arms. “ and we’re not later for class so, it’s worked out” Natsuki sees Monika approaching both of them.
Monika greets Sayori with a kiss on the cheek and gives Natsuki a bear hug. “God damnit! why do you two always try to injure me every time you greet me!” she shouts out as she wiggles around in Monika's arms. “Your reactions are just too cute Nats,” she said as she releasesNatsuki and pats her on the head. Sayori giggles at their antics. “Monika as much as enjoy your company I know you’re here for another reason.” Monika tilts her in amusement and looks back at Sayori with warmth in her eyes.
“As you know I had Sayori text you this morning about a favor” Naktsuki nod her in agreement, allowing Monika to continue. “So Naktsuki I need you to quit the baking club.” Naktsuki stare at Monika “What?! ..Why?!” Sayori continues the conversation “We need you to join our club.” Natsuki puts her head in her hands. “Even if I do quit, where are we going to find the 4thmember Monika?” Natsuki lean back on the lockers taking in the information that was presented to her.
“Monika why would you start up a new club when we are all in clubs already,” Natsuki asked.“Actually...” Sayori turns to Natsuki bashfully “It was my idea.” She pauses “I just want to spend time with my two favorite people in the whole world and I thought this was the best way to do it.” Natsuki walks up to Sayori and hugs her. “God damnit Sayori... why are you such a sweetheart” She breaks away showing her little fang in a smile to both girls. “Okay, I’ll join you guys’ club.”Both Sayori and Monika's faces light up at the statement. “Plus” Natsuki continues “I need to lay low after this morning. I don’t want an army of Omegas coming after me because I interrupted their chance to get with an Alpha.”
Sayori brings everyone back on topic by asking Monika about the last member. “Don’t worry about sunshine, I have someone in mind for the last spot. All I need you two to do is just come to the room when I get the club authorize, but for now, let's head to class.” Before they could reach their homeroom Natsuki ask “What is the theme of the club?”Monika nonchalantly replies, “Oh a literature club” Natsuki frowns and replies “What the fuck is a literature club?”
